He does not know what he is talking about. batteries do not take a break. LG HB2 (if those are your cells) are rated for 30amps each, so 90 watts each for a total of 180 watts with 2 cells
See that what i understood from being on this forum. He recommended i tried samsung 25 rz but they do the dame thing basically. So your saying the dip mybe the batterie “catching up?”

I spoke with an employee at vapenation where i boughtthe drag if it woukd be the mod if it would be the mod and he said likelythe batterie taking a break more or less he said the lghb2’ s are for 70 w and under but i thought they were good for 69 watts each. If its the nod i want ti return it while i still can

Not true, authentic LGDBHG2 18650's 3000mah ( brown wrap) are 20a CDR cells that work well up to 60w each.
LGHB2 / LGDAHB2 18650 1500mah ( green wrap) are 30a CDR cells that work well up to 90w each.

What are the exact letters & numbers on the cells you're using?

IF your cells are authentic they are not the cause of the dip, regulated power device regulate power output to eliminate power output variations.

The recommended wattage on most replaceable heads is more of a suggestion, one that just about guaranties you'll have to buy more.
Always vape at whatever power level tastes best to you.
Try starting off lower like 10w - 20w under reccomended & gradually work your way up taking a few vapes on each setting until you find what you like best.

Both the LG HB2 and Samsung 25 R are more than capable for your power requirements. If the device is stalling, or cutting power while you are taking a hit, then I would suspect the device is defective or this is a setting that can be changed. Voopoo has implemented a “Fit” setting. I do not understand what it does for documentation is limited. Try changing this, think there are 3 different settings

I just tried the drag with a different set of the LG’s same typ and it did not stall then i tried the first set if batteries with my innokin proton and the same tank and it did stall so im assuming its the batteries? So my question is, is it safe to coninue with the batteries that seem to be casing the stall?

I'm no battery expert so let's see if the expert answers the bat signal
It is highly unlikely that your batteries just stop mid draw, I can't see that at all.
@Mooch?

You're either writing the numbers wrong or you possibly have counterfeit cells.

LGDAHB21865 = 30a / 90w each ~ know as LG HB2 green wrap
LGDBHG21865 = 20a / 60w each - known as LG HG2. brown wrap.

It isn't a good idea to continue to use any cells you notice any odd behavior from.

Mooch’s test displayed 30amps for the HB2. This will equate to 90 watts per cell so 180 watts for dual. Regardless if his test or what you posted was a typo, these cells are more than capable of handling the OP’s power requirements.

The maximum current is only required as the battery level is near or at it’s cutoff of ~3.2 volts. To calculate the needed current,

Wattage used/number of batteries = Wbatt

Wbatt/Vlow (lowest voltage)/Efficiency. 0.9 is about average for efficiency.

I agree that they will handle what he needs.

Sounds like he has the HG2's

Not if the cells he has have the letters as he wrote them.
There is no such thing as a legit LGABHG2, so if those are the letters on the wrap = possible counterfeit.
LGDAHB21865 - LG HB2 - green wrap
LGDBHG21865 - LG HG2 - brown wrap.

The color of the wrap makes no difference if the identifying model numbers do not correspond to any authentic LG chem cell.

You're right, I'm assuming he mistyped the code.
