Hey! Here's a good sign! I found out a little while ago that my youngest daughter was in a minor fender bender. She rear ended another car, which automatically makes it her fault, which means I'm responsible for paying for the damage and the increase in the insurance.I didn't even think about vaping or smoking!
Gotta find the silver lining folks!
Silver lining? She's fine and hopefully learned her lesson the easy way. You should be happy!
Thanks Whisk. Ironic thing is she had the accident at the exact same intersection that I had mine! Hers was very minor, though. No one was hurt except for the cars! My daughter was shaken up a bit.

Yes there's a couple of silver linings to be had here! I'm just very happy that my first thought wasn't "man I need a vape right now" since I've been trying to give it up.

I did talk to her and she was soooooooo nice. Almost restored my faith in humanity. She is willing to do that, but it might cost me a couple grand. Her whole quarter panel on the driver's side is gonna have to be replaced.

Sorry about your daughter. I went from bed directly to car one morning in teenage years, cost 2 grand back then, but never did that anymore.

We've been through this just recently, except we were rear-ended by a teenager. We got an estimate from our shop and the grateful parents sent us a check. Even if it's 2 grand, the accident doesn't go on her record and you'll save money in the long run--those insurance rate hikes for teenagers are brutal....
