We've been through this just recently, except we were rear-ended by a teenager. We got an estimate from our shop and the grateful parents sent us a check. Even if it's 2 grand, the accident doesn't go on her record and you'll save money in the long run--those insurance rate hikes for teenagers are brutal....

don't forget - lots of insurance companies give one freebie, first accident doesn't count!

Hey! Here's a good sign! I found out a little while ago that my youngest daughter was in a minor fender bender. She rear ended another car, which automatically makes it her fault, which means I'm responsible for paying for the damage and the increase in the insurance. I didn't even think about vaping or smoking! Gotta find the silver lining folks!

I liked this and not because of the accident.
