Finally! The proud owner of a Super-T product :)

My satin slant cap for the ELA arrived today, I can almost imagine the full ELA attached, mmmm, haha

Jokes aside, this thing already reeks of quality. The satin truly is an amazing & unique finish. The edges & threads, well done, smooove. The heft too! Love heft! My Screwdriver weighs in at 35g without a battery(i think its ~51g w/ batt) and this slant cap alone is 27g, haha.

Wow that was fast. So I am 7/8/14... No need to rush though as I requested my ELA V2 in Satin... ;)

My order was on 7/10, also a Satin, so I'm right there with ya ;)

Now im stalking the brass accent rings..

Same here, haha. I don't particularly like brass, or anything shiny, but a nice worn in patina has character.

Does anyone have photos of brass accent rings showing such a patina? Pretty please...:nun:

EDIT: Duh, one of the first Google Images results, haha. Overlooked. Assuming that's from a member here. The same member has an ELA with what looks like blue/green accents, hmmm...I don't think these are natural patinas, haha. Unless Super-T put out a limited run of unusual rings

Just in case..checking with the elder members of the family for experiences..maybe the finishing is special, those cloths are a no-no..so i guess its ok

Nothing really special per say...... Just good solid stainless steel that has been brushed to a beautiful elegant finish. Not too shiny , so no fingerprints.... Just clean with a microfiber cloth and alcohol for normal cleaning. If and when it gets dirty, wash with soap and water, rinse, dry.....

For the occasional polishing, use a non-abrasive metal polish such as the Cape Cod cloths, Sunshine cloths, Flitz etc. If you get some hairline scuffs etc.... Use Autosol or Simichrome or other quality metal cleaners.

Just make sure that you DO NOT use any polish of any kind on the Rhodium/ Palladium contacts. Just wash or clean with alcohol when you get juice condensation on them.
