Today, I was just reminded of why I told myself to buy from Super T moving forward....
So I opened up my Ithaka that I procured at Vapebash. Taking apart piece after piece trying to make sense of how this thing works. I realized several things... first of all there are SO many parts!! At least 15 parts, maybe more. YIKES! Then I looked at it a little more closely and noticed quite a few machining flaws (David, you've spoiled me). Some rough edges on the parts that "you don't see" and the like. Don't get me wrong, its a pretty RBA, it really is. But now seeing the complexity of it with all its many parts got me thinking about electrical junctions. Man, what a crazy device if you're trying to steer clear of this!! Aside from that, it just seems to be an overall pain because of the use of non-resistance wire and resistance wire, many parts to deal with, tons of electrical junctions, ceramics, silica, etc.... Its a PAIN!
Fortunately it sold on the classies within 13 minutes and I'm now seriously just going to wait for Super T RBA's. I know they're going to be the best. As well as be the best for my ELA in both fit and finish. Perhaps, I'll just order yet another ELA.
