Hey did you guys know tomorrow is friday? If ever there was a TGIF, tomorrow would rank right on the top. Watch me miss the cut.

I'm actually very anxious for you guys too. More people getting their ELAs means more pics, and different setups. It will be pretty cool.

I ordered ss accent rings in addition to the satin ELA. I know David said that it adds more weight, but I really really just want to see what it looks like with with a ring covering the ext tube while in 18650 mode. I suspect there may be a gap, but I am very eager to try it.

Heck I am thinking just 1 polished ring on the bottom and the rest even satin, that may be cute.

Hey speaking of which, is it difficult to take the bottom ring off? Is that in video 5?

Easy as cake, Freckle. You just need to take the button part out, and then unthread the bottom accent ring :).

Obviously as you said, Dave has already told you. It's very true :), if you add a 2nd accent ring to the ext. tube it's gonna be one heavy PV. You will see :)

Nic

Edit- Wow !! Smiley overload. Let just add this  to break all that.

Never owned a gg or a provari, so I am totally clueless on the comparable weight. I have a reo grand with an 18650 battery and a weight watchers scale that is bound to be every bit of 20 years old. Hmmm

The kicklet cap really has very little to do with the kick aside from the fact that it came with the kicklet.
There are three reasons, that come to mind, why someone may want to use a kicklet cap...
#1 It's noticeably lighter than either the standard flat cap or the slant cap.
#2 It has a deeply recessed drip well that allows for the connection of skirted atomizers.
#3 You're a dripper and you want a nice deep drip well.

#4 - Air channels. I'm getting one for this reason.

I didn't imagine that it would but I figured that a P+ flat cap may look better than the ELA caps if you wanted to omit the top ring in a 18500 or 18650 config... Just a thought.

Don't get me wrong, it would have been pretty cool. After figuring my ELA, that was the second thing that I tried.

The kiklet cap is also a little bit shorter than the standard flat cap, so if you're trying to minimize length, that's the way to go. It's only a mm or two at the most, however.

Hey, you're right! Just checked it against my slat cap... Looks to be about 2 mils difference. Can't believe I didn't notice before.

To me GGs were heavy. The weight of a provari never bothered me, even in 18650 mode.
