It happened to me with a couple of non- GG greek made atties, the problem was not with the modder, but the reseller. I went on their forum here and asked some questions and the Modder took care of me so perfectly. He didnt have to because I bought it from a re-seller but it was HIS product and didnt want the re-seller ruining his name.

Things happen, and I am the most patient and understanding person, but dont treat me like a dummy, and expect me to spend shipping 2 or 3 times on top of being rude to me. Im am sooooo used to getting that one in a million problem item, so I understand things happen.

Love the look of the ELA with the brass accents - glad I ordered those as extras! I've got a couple of mixed SS/brass drip tips that should look great with that:)
Since there has been some talk about bags today, I can't resist showing you mine. Hand made by an ex-soldier and designed to withstand battlefied conditions, so ideal if you regularly come in contact with kids, or in my case grand kids:facepalm:

I have a bench grinder with a buffer wheel, and it takes 3 minutes to get a brass mod nice and shiny. I have found that I like the look of slightly tarnished brass. If I am going out somewhere fancy I can buff it up in no time. I also ordered an extra set of brass accent rings that I am going to media blast to go on my satin ELA. You don't need to worry about them being shiny. I wonder how they would look with a polished ELA?

The atomizer featured on many of David's photos is a very normal and old-fashioned (heh) 510 atomizer paired with a Super-T T-Tip (choose your variety). If you find a source for good performing and shiny finished 510 atomizers it can be an excellent and beautiful vape. Exactly what will be going on my ELA with adjustable draw.

As far as comparison with a genesis, can't tell you. I suspect it would be less of whatever it is you like. Personally I don't care for genesis style for a number of reasons and would gladly vape a 510 over one any time.

Thanks! 'whatever it is you like' -> lots of vapor, lots of flavor, very clean flavor (no tinting by the atomizer). Are there good 510 atomizers in the style of the one we're talking about that are rebuildable? I really appreciate the information.

People are taking stabs at making rebuildable 510s. Not sure how good they are.
Just try some 510s. Expenditure is minimal.

Suppose that all depends on your personal skill set... People were rebuilding 510 attys long before there were RBAs. The advent of attys that were designed to be easily rebuilt seems to have killed off that particular practice but there are lots of old threads on the topic. You just need to go ways back in the atomizer mods forum.

As far as a true dripping RBA the size of a 510 atty... The Killer 705 is the only thing that comes to mind.

Whats a good way to get hairline scratch out of stainless (polished)? I use the scotchbrite pads for brushed finish no problem, but don't want to make my polished mods worse because I don't know what I'm doing.

I dont know if anyone else has asked today, but here goes....... Has anyone received any ship notifications today?

Every time I hear my email go off on my phone, I think ELA or Chi :p and it looks like I got screwed on a trade. Sent my brand new foggatti out for a brass chi that fell off the face of the earth after it was mailed. That was my first trade on the forum. I now how terrible my luck is, and traded anyways, like a big dummy. Oh well, my whining has yet to make it appear in my mail box.:D

We r all in for a treat and the waiting isnt bugging me. Im in the second batch.

Just so u all know there is alot if unhappy campers on FB over a just released popular korean mod. Alot of them have recieved their mods with burrs still in the threading and people are having a hard time screwing stuff into their 510 connection. People are opening up threads on tips to remedy something that clearly shouldve been remedied by the modder. After reading their issues i think back at this thread.. Im happy david is doing what he needs to do... And im lovin the brass accent rings.

I am loving the picture with the brass accent rings, I'm so glad I ordered an extra set. Of course it is just making me more eager for the ELA to arrive. I love my P18 (original not plus) but I can't use it with a Vivi Nova without an adapter (which makes it look funky, and the adapters I have suck) so I am using a natural right now and it drives me nuts because you can't screw it together all the way with an AW18650. That makes me crazy. It isn't even a button top, .... Makes me appreciate Super T all the more.

Diver is a rebuildable atomizer that actually looks like a 510 carto, I think it goes for 37euros.

Can the Diver be used w/o a tank? It's been awhile since I looked at it but I seem to recall holes in the tube that looked like they'd leak if you were to use it without a tank. (I could be wrong... Probably am...)
