Thanks for the reply, DantesInferno. I want to try thes 306's but I want to see what David's adjustable air control is all about.

That said, and considering the more gunkier juices (e.g. MOV NET's), how do these 510 atomizers hold up? I can't believe that a coil that has been dry burned daily will hold up more than 2 weeks.
I used cisco 306's and nets without issues. Thats HHV net tobaccos though. They burn super clean. Don't gunk up my rda coils at all even at higher vg.

WOW, Uke, glad that nothing but your finger got damaged. I dont mean to sound mean :). At least a finger can heal. Ive only had my ELA go off on a surface that I assumed was level but wasnt. It had a sort of bumpy surface(glass) with my heavy longermode Ody.

Now that I have broken in the safety switch I can lock it and unlock it pretty quick. At first it was real stiff, at least it was for me. Got these stupid hands. But now it just locks smooth. The lock also acts like a little kick stand and steadys it even more.

Hmmm, I've been vaping mine for days now with the Ody (new o ring, thanks again Priscilla) and have been setting the mod down upright every time since I usually vape a genny. Not once has it fired just sitting there. I've been fiddling with the switch a lot and I've noticed that the difference between firing and not firing when set upright is a very, very small difference indeed. I have begun setting the lock lately just to see what is involved as I vape several setups at the same time grabbing one of at least 4 or 5 different setups each time.

Perhaps I've just been lucky to not have it fire by itself in the upright position..

just sayin; i have one Cobra in the classies...

on another note:
i as usual learned the hard way... set my ELA down in 500 mode with a Nimbus on top... cocked my ear to listen for a sizzle, didn't hear a thing, and walked away....

.................

not sure for how long, but it was a fresh 490... 4.2 v

when i picked it up it burnt my thumb and index finger... cooled it off, and metered batt... 3.6v

bottom line: I'm not a drinker, but this passes the drunken vaper test.... man that thing gets hot.

i have a fan going in my office and so no sizzle no vapor to sense there... the Nimbus is fine; washers may have suffered a little on both units but no visual of that.
the wick was still wet but smelled like bacon crispy.

I suppose that every mod has its possible problems. Im sure that most bottom button mods have the possibility of firing. My PVs before were Saber Touchs, no button but a sensor. I put it in a zipper bag in my purse and it made contact with the zipper and it fired by itself. Fortunately it had not been going off for very long. It did not have a on/off switch so to make sure it would not go off the only safe thing to do was to take the battery out.

We just have to learn the ins and outs of our devices and know how to care for them. Nothing is a 100%.

I was wondering what that was, it actually says USA. Pretty.

yeah, probably is the GM... and yes anavid... i think it was a crumb (lol) or something on my plexiglass type table top that did it.
my fingers are fine now, and so is the vape.
:)
i did a couple of cotton / micro wick/coils ... .9 Ohms; yummy coconut clouds

I should add that the ELA worked perfectly right from David. The other mod in the first pic didn't fire at all, had scratches when I received it, and will take constant cleaning (on the whole mod) since everything is brass which WILL oxidize immediately in contrast to David's choices of SS and the coated contacts for firing....

Pretty BIG difference at about a $20 difference and yes I waited far longer than estimated time to receive the other mod WITHOUT timely updates by the modder..

Funny about certain other products, not all but there are a few out there that cost close to Super-T that come from the makers with flaws. Some even have it in the descriptions that due to the handmade or hand finished nature to expect some flaws. Most of these that I see are the expensive Pinoy or korean mods, NOt all but seen a few. Im sure they would fix it but most people just sort of expect it or pay to have them refinished due to the cost of shipping it back.

How it works is the main thing to me, and if it has potential, then a win can still be salvaged.

About looks; cosmetics... if it functions well, and it looks great, its a bonus.
I mean look at that steam punk or whatever its called... hah, it looks like a piece of plumbing out of a tin pan alley... ;)

I have accumulated 5 or 6 different high end mods and a couple of those I have 2 of right now...
and I have 3 clones that I love-
(because they represent the first of some really decent mechs coming out of China... not sure if that is ethical, but it is part of my game right now).

I think I'll whittle my stock down a bit more soon enough... hopefully before clones start getting really good and popping up everywhere... then i'd lose the chance to gain some money back... i think they will make the high end market tighten up.

Heck you can only vape so much... and at my age lol...

I can say there is no better made tele than this ELA right now.

I'm going to look for a nice pad or something... so ELA can be like a queen (king or prince) reclining on a cushion against my big quartz stone in front of my computer.

No offense intended to you, but I personally feel that is a garbage rip-off from a garbage vendor with questionable business practices, terrible machining and a terrible attitude.

With that said, I hope the device works out for you, I just won't be spending any money on his stuff.

Edit: not talking about the ELA, obviously :p

Probably figured it out already, but Second Batch ELA's are closed! There may be a few cancellations over the coming weeks and we'll put them up for sale if we do, but I can't reserve any or make any lists, this presale has been up for half a year so everyone had equal opportunity to get in on one. It'll just be first come first serve.

Thanks for your support everyone! Now back to assembling ELA's :)

LMAO! You like to live dangerously, I'm surprised there isn't a timeout on the cart if you don't checkout within a reasonable amount of time. ALL DAY does not constitute reasonable :D

I dont know exactly how long it stays in your cart, not much more than a day though...
The thing is even if its in your cart its not yours until you PLACE ORDER.... I have had items loaded in the past and when I got home were sold out....
