I believe serious modders are not happy about cloning and are at the mercy of the system.
Its up to the market to support them and for good reason.
At the same time 1. most clones up to now are junk in so many ways; a waste of money imo unless you are good with modding them your self.
2. Starting to happen now, in limited areas... when cloning standards rise, the original modders are facing a serious problem imo. How could they compete with cost differences?
They compete by innovation. A clone is a clone, nothing new to see. That's why I support the original maker and would rather do without than buy a clone. It's an investment in the future, I'll pay extra to see what's next. The Walmartinization is inevitable and that would be great in one way, getting more people off killing themselves by smoking. But for as long as this golden age lasts I'll be a patron of the artists.
