Was out working and got email notification of a couple of pms here. Low and behold Freckles and Cjax looking out for the old Ratman and giving me a heads up. Order 16534 placed and confirmed polshed with brass and kick tube. Can I get a hell yeah? Yay! I didn't get shockwaved this time!

So that puts eta of delivery around? ??? Christmas?

If you mean Christmas, 2014, maybe. The way getting these out is going, it's going to be a long time. I got in on the tail end of the first batch, ordered March 20-something. Still no shipping notice. Maybe I'll see it in August.... At least I know the wait will be worth my while.

Do we have enough data to ballpark David's throughput/week? And given the order number, how do you know how many ELA's are in front of you? My order is #16275, if someone has order #16200 then I hope it's not 275 ELA's to ship to get to me. It doesn't seem that way from what I've seen, otherwise David's pre-order count in ELA units would be over 1000 right? Just curious how it works and how you get an idea of where you are in the backlog.

No I actually didn't cave! Part of me is not happy about it, but I think it's for the best.

I'm proud of you vaptamist, that took real willpower and allowed someone praying to get one the opportunity. Hat's off to you ...

I believe there are around 450 total in the pre-order. Split into two batches. All of my orders(15461, 16184, 16440) are in batch #2. The order numbers generate from all their sales. Not just ELA's.

Remember these are just estimates...

I believe the total number of ELA's was somewhere around 550 -- minus the suppliers, I'd guess there were probably ~250 per batch. I believe batch 2 starts somewhere around 15290 and ends around 16550. That means, on average, every 5 orders would be an ELA. Over the past 2 weeks, I think David was working on orders 15126-15183 which, using the above average, would come out to 11 or 12 ELA's... or about 6 a week.

Given that rate of shipping, you can expect to receive order #16275 on 4/05/2014 (255 days from now). Haha that doesn't sound right, my math has gotta be off somewhere. Or maybe these last two weeks have just been slow and more will start shipping out weekly.

EDIT: This is essentially the formula I used... (YourOrderNo - LastShippedNo) / 4.286 = NoDaysToWait
