I just received my ELA! I was quite tired and opened the box in the car. I just ordered the ELA with brass accents. I'm afraid I dropped something in the car, is this all that I should have received? I'm too tired to put it together yet but boy it's beautiful. I just wanted to check that I didn't drop something.

COngratulations !!!! If you ordered the brass accents then you should have gotten 2 brass pieces, one on top and bottom. It looks like your bottom brass part is missing :(

There is really nothing to put together, just pop a battery in and attach your atty and vape on. Geez the long wait anxiety would be too much for me not to use it right out of the box. I would have to be paralyzed not to.

Not missing, it's on the device.

Thanks. Yes, sorry the bottom brass piece was attached to the device. I was very excited to get it, which is why I hastily opened the box when I was riding to a live performance in a friend's car. But by the time I arrived home, I was dog tired as I'd been up nearly 24 hours and had only about five hours to sleep before work again today. I'll have plenty of time this weekend to mess around with it, thankfully. And that'll be what I'll be thinking about just about all day today.

There is no fiddling required with the ELA....Put the top accent ring on/insert battery = Vaping Masterpiece...
You are going to regret that you didn't order the Stainless accent rings also to match your ELA finish..Brass is cool for dress events but Stainless is the best IMO. Plus you are missing the 18650/Kick ext. tube..

Finally received my ELA, both accent rings, and extension. At least I think so cause I haven't opened the box yet.
The funny thing is this was the first mod that I purchased when I quit smoking back in July. Thinking that egos would tide me over until I received it in a few months. Lol!
9 months later, I have plenty of great vape gear and this mod is now superfluous.

So I have always been a SuperT Satin fan, but this Polished ELA is outrageous...
I once owned a Highly Polished Provari for about a day before I sold it... It was a fingerprint smear magnet and looked like a cheap chrome mirror..
Now SuperT's version of Polished is different.. No prints, its Polished but still looks like its made of Stainless Steel... There is nothing out there that can compare to an ELA's design/fit and finish..... For those of you who are still waiting on your ELA, wait as there is no rushing perfection. :)

Why sometimes am I getting a burst of heat through my firing button? I've had 1600mah aw's and 1500mah mnke's in here. Has happened with my origen and the strata. I know my origen is at 0.6ohm. I'm guessing the build I have on the strata is a bit lower than that. There's no shorts in my builds. Kinda freaks me out when it happens.

Hmmm maybe low sub ohm builds just aren't gonna work. Kinda sad. This has been my favorite build in the strata so far but ya it hits like a 0.4ish build. Best build I've had for flavor and vapor though. Other coils have been a bit light on vapor. Getting a hot pinky off and on is a bit unnerving though.

No finish, on the face of this earth, is better than David's unique interpretation of the word polished! I hope he continues this! I was disappointed to hear, the 26650 is true polished. Very sad....

I never run my ELA any higher than .6ish ohms. At .6ish ohms, I never get 'hot button'. When I go lower, I may get 'hot button'. Sometimes, the 'hot button' is because the button area needs cleaning. Some say, the HD springs resolve the 'hot button' issue. David has stated that interlacing springs will resolve the 'hot button' issue.

Hmmm. I just threw one of my nem springs in there. I'll see if it stops.

Edit... didn't completely stop it but sure isn't doing it as much and not as noticeable.

Might also add...I notice it worse on the mnke batts than the aw's.

I need to say this.........

People are posting, that they are guessing the ohms of their Strata builds. Many are guessing, because they don't have a multi-meter. Guessing, may be all fine and good for those who have built many coils. But, even then, we are using a brand new device, and building 'out-of-the-box' coils. Personally, I don't care how many coils I have built. I will test each and every build, prior to placing on a mod. One bad short, early on, got my attention!

New Builders: Please invest in a multi-meter?

Super-T Family: Please be safe?

I love my Super-T family!
