Yes that would help, but if David can make it one solid tube, that would be the best. If it is made in 2 sections than it defeats the purpose of the need for a solid tube. If it ends up being made in 2 parts, thats just redundant and defeats the whole need/want for a solid tube.

But there is still something wrong with that design, On original ELA the diameter of the tube is wider above the ring/ joint. I dont like the transition to the top cap. It looks odd to me.

The only real need for me having a solid tube is because of my hands. I have taken ELA out with me a couple times and both times I thank God I was kinda with it because I went to pick it up and each time it slipped and if it would have hit the ground..... well I dont even want to think about that. It would add some security for me.

Yeah, but its 20mm and I have no atties that are 20mm . :( My mod has to be 23 or 24mm in diameter.

The P+ with a slant cap and Taifun GS looks (Barney Stinson "Wait for it") awesome! The perfect out and about mod. Slim, front shirt pocketable. The ELA on the other hand is my at home mod. It's big and fat and comfortable to hold. I like the idea of a solid tube - sort of. By that, I mean I want an 18650 (I'd also like one in 18500 size but lets be honest, with the top ring, in 18500 mode the ELA as it is is pretty perfect. ) tube that still retains the knurled ring at the top for quick battery changes. But then I think, "Couldn't all this be achieved by making the accent ring double the size? Yeah there would be a gap with some batteries but it would be pretty small and the ELA would still be an ELA. A big, fat ELA that feels great in the hand and retains all its ELAness.

I've learned to love the gap in 650 mode. Gives me a nice area to rest the mod between my thumb and forefinger. :)

Pris, if you want a P+, just get one! Or wait for David to revamp the P+ design. We all know it's coming!
I just hope it's in this lifetime.
Heres something to put on top of a P+

That looks very nice , but in my case my number 1 atty is 23mm and my second fav is 22. So those are the most important pieces for my vaping needs and the MOD choice has to accommodate them. ELA was the answer to my search. There are a few 23mm's, a couple that I actually like and one that I would consider if I had the spare cash. It still does not "ring my bell" . ELA rings those bells and more.

I lusted for a Precise Plus but the width was the only thing that kept me from it. I cant count how many times I placed on in my cart. I was just about to buy a ROLLER by Atmizoo, but I happened upon the ELA and the search was over.

I ordered two of the ohm springs as that was apparently the more sought after of the two but what's the difference between the two as far as functionality?

The HD is stiffer, that's all. I prefer it to the standard but if you have weak hands, the original appears to be the choice.
