Thanks vaptamist...took out my 357 and dripped on my lux..first vape not bad...redripped and flooded the damn thing..put right back into the drawer and went back to NiMBUs :D

I have been dripping for almost 4 years now....You need to learn to drip correctly because a HH357 rivals any rda/rba atomizer with thick dense clouds of vapor..The small form factor and performance of a HH357 cant be beat...I have been using them for 1 1/2 years and given up all of my RDAs....How old is your HH? HHs built in the last 6 months are assembled with VII Specs and are a major improvement over previous versions..

Its about 8 to 9 mnths old, back when i first started vaping and was paired with my provari mini...wasnt used much because i purchased a zap immediatly and havent looked back to cartos/atty since then. I just think it taste funny/weird...

HHs have great flavor....you didn't burn yours did you? The new ones are so much better then old spec versions...They don't spit and last much longer... With an HH the only maintenance required is to blow them clear (from the threaded end only) 2-3 times a day and redrip.
Do not dry burn HHs no matter what others will tell you, it will shorten the coils life and lower its resistance.... Like I said I have been using them exclusively for the last 1 1/2 years and know all their ins and outs...
I had a ZAP once....Did deliver a good vape but the bluk and weight it added were unacceptable....Direct dripping is still the best way IMO....

I may have to try and get new batch then, initially i remebered dry burning the .... out of it..was recomended by someone...but at 25 bucks?...seems a bit stiff..especially when i just joined a coop for a taifun clone for 30

If you did dry burn the ... out of it, the wick material has been burnt and will taste awful...@ $25 a pop I have spent a lot of money on attys...but I am willing to do that because of the small from factor with great performance...

So whats the lifetime of your hh357...

Now that's a good question? Some people keep them around for months on end... I like to swap them out every 4-6 weeks...Even though they still fire at that point there is nothing like a fresh new coil so Im willing to spend the $25 to keep my vape experience at its best... I use to toss them but I now give then to a friend who wont pay the high price for a new HH...She seems to love my old HHs and gets many more months out of them....

Hmmm...I can build a coil for about 10 cents that will last far longer than 4-6 weeks. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Nothing personal, just sayin'.

They do last longer then 4-6 weeks but a FRESH coil taste better that's why I give the old ones away... I know all about the 10 cent coils...The problem for me is that RDA/RBAs add a lot of unneeded size to a mod...Not only do I like the look of a 510 better but its a small easy to drip form factor....So Im willing to shell out the big $$$....But that's me....

It's not even big $$$$. I get 4-6 months out of my Hh357's. 25$ for 6 months of vape time? If that's out of your budget range then my condolences.

Now where you won't get an argument out of me is if you say you enjoy your 10 cent coil more than a normal 510 atomizer. Vape away on what you enjoy! But budget is a silly argument.

I've seen people spout this argument and then order 100 feet of this wire and then next month 100 feet of the latest and greatest wire, and then 25 sq feet of 400 mesh and then 300 mesh, and then ekowool, and then cotton, and then ceramic wicks, and then wire welding tools, and butane torches. Which is all fine! But then they go on and on about how much money they are saving, while they buy all that and then $200 PV's and the latest and greatest rebuildables.

Anyway, rant over. Vape what you enjoy if its within your budget. Someone will always disagree and think their method is better. And they're wrong - not wrong about who's is better, but just wrong for having the argument in the first place.

To my eyes a 510 atomizer (or HH 357) looks pretty sweet on a smaller mod like a 10440 or maybe even a 14500. Anything bigger than that, I personally think it start looking a bit 'odd'..

For larger diameter mods I think RBA / RDA with a closer diameter to the mod looks best.

I have 2 HH 357's and they are pretty nice but, for me at least, I did not really think they were worth the price. They are currently chillin' in my unused vape box where they will remain for emergency use only.

Spot on Vapatamist....I retract my earlier statement. :)

However, I do prefer building my own coils, not for the money savings because as you outlined above, I ain't savin' ?&%$! I like it because I can tailor my vape experience to exactly what I'm after, not what some manufacturer thinks I will like.

Carry on. :)
