has anyone had misfires??? Mine worked flawlessly for 1 week, now Im getting a lot of misfires, have to press the button really hard to make it work....battery charged, everything snugly connected...dont know whats going on=(

Did you clean your ELA before first use? It may have some machine shop fodder on it. I'd go over all the contacts with a paper tissue and also check your battery terminals for dirt and grime.

the cleaning of contacts and batt didnt work, still getting misfires

Make sure you have all your parts firmly seated then. Top cap, button assembly, etc. It all carries a current, so if there is any sort of play within the threaded sections, that'll cause your misfires as well.

EDIT: Also be sure to check your atomizer connection again. Remove the adjustable center pin, bottom out your atty on the top cap, then put your center pin back in until that bottoms out on your atty.

mine hasnt ever misfires.. nach has very good advice... i did when i got it unscrew it all and took it apart just to see how it all goes.. then put back together and tightened it all up.. when my atty goes on top i always unscrew the center post down, sit atty flush then gently screw center post till it stops.. alls good... im thinking it could be ur atty.... what kind of atty r u using?

Make sure the contact screw on the button is tightened with a screwdriver, not just finger tight. Unscrew the top center post from the top cap and wash them both with hot water and dishsoap, blow dry. If juice builds up in there it can cause problems. Make sure do grime is on the inside of the bottom screw on cap that the button passes through. You can use an eraser in there or fine sandpaper wrapped around a pen and spin it inside there.
