I will say I wish it had a side button....that bottom button will take some getting used to. 
I was worried also about a bottom button. I had only ever used a top side button.
It felt natural right away. I didnt have to catch myself having to think about it for long at all. It feels now as though Im holding like a cigar. More elegant. Being a woman , at least, I like that I dont have to grip it and feel like a caveman wielding a weapon.
But if needed the ELA is a big beautiful hunk of steel wieldy enough to be used as a weapon.

Oh Nach, what a wonderful set of triplets. You are making me miss my ELA even more. THe satin is so nice, is it true, that its so much better in person? I only have the accent ring, I bet its just amazing holding the all satin piece.
Yeah, it kind of is better in person, now that you mention it. I don't regret getting it one bit!

It took me a bit to get used to it. But, now I would never know I didn't always have a bottom button.
The ELA was my first Super-T mod. It has far exceeded any expectations I had. Life is good!
I received mine today, the Postman just left at the time of writing this.
I was very excited, a beautiful looking device.
But, I can't use it as the top contact post was missing. It has to be an oversight on Super T's part as the package was undamaged.
I am so disappointed.
I sent an email and hope it will be sorted but being in Australia it will be a while.

Wow. So sorry to hear. Super-T always gets back to me 'same day', when I email them. Hopefully, they can fix you up real fast.
Question here....hubby bought his ELA in June, bought mine in July......still waiting. So he sent an email asking the status and when we might expect them to be made. He was given an answer of late December for mine........and NO response on his. Is anyone here qualified to give me an answer please?
I ordered mine around the same time you did. The best thing you can do is forget you ordered it. Save yourself the grief. When you finally get a shipping notice it'll be a big surprise and you'll be excited like you were when you clicked "add to cart".
I received a fast reply from Super T about my missing top post and with apologies they are sending me the part.

The missing top contact post was not an error on Super-T's part, there are forces at work here way beyond anything Super-T can control. See your avatar over there - this is simply a case of the "man upstairs" returning a tweak. When you do get the top contact post, it will probably be made of polished aluminum - good luck getting a vape from that lol.

So I went out and got some 400 grit sandpaper like David suggested. Wrapped it around a sharpie and turned it around inside the button housing and buffed out the aluminum locking ring. Both pieces got a little scuffed, nothing too noticeable though. The mod seems to be hitting better now which is great, but I wish David would put up some replacement locking rings since I cant use my ELA for 10 minutes without the tube sliding upwards due to a weak locking ring. Not sure how/when it got warped, .
