Davids initial idea was to make a "hybrid" module and a bottom cap. You can fit in the board and fold over the display to show opposite the board's button access. Thus needing to only use the length of the board to determine the overall length of the module for ELA. The buttons would just be on the opposite side as the display.

Just an fyi, I had mentioned when we did the flat bottom caps, we'd eventually be doing a Simplicity style flat button with locking ring, so we will be having one. Those extensions I could see as valuable for someone who just sticks with the same battery and uses the ELA strata on it. With the Strata, the ELA is one of the beefiest, most overbuilt, substantial mod you've ever held. It's pretty damn impressive if you like that sort of thing which most ELA owners do. Wimpy it is not...

If people were interested in us doing up a batch of solid screw on sleeves, what sizes would you like (18500 or 18650) so we could get a feel for production numbers?

i wanted to clarify, before I possibly upset some people. I thought Id throw this out at David because when I see others making money off anothers product I feel the maker of the product can see the need and opportunity to make it himself.
WIth that.......PLEASe DAVID, DONT MAKE ANY MORE goodies for us , till EVERYONE get their ELA. If I did not already have mine Id be getting UPSET. I know that you say you are not slowing down the production of ELA with all the things you have brought out, but psychologically , Illogically whatever you want to call it, those waiting cant help but feel resentment and find it hard to really believe that ELA is not being held back.

SO Im sorry , Id LOVE tubes like that and many other amazing add ons that ELA brings to the table , but LEts get those ELAs to their anxious owners. Please? :) Sorry to those waiting if I messed up, I had good intentions, but you all know how those good intentions sometime end up like.

And on another note.......My ELAs have been delivered to Super T....... Now the wait......

ANd NO, the plea for not making new goodies is not self serving. But it would slow down my fixes too:)

But Really, ELA is one of the most innovative amazing pieces that can be the first of its kind. The only device that is "modular" no more having to buy V2, 3, 4 , etc. You can update it with new parts as the years continue, change its looks, dna it, whatever. No more will your MOD end up Obsolete.

I thought the solid rings looked great! I mainly use my ELA in 500 stance. I would be game for one. Polished version.

Looking at Evolv's DNA30 spec sheet..The oled screen is 0.69" and the chip board appears to be about + or - an inch..
It might be feasible to actually build and module that is a reasonable length.. Now why didn't I think of that? Nach your a smart fellow..:)

Forgot, before I can get any accessories for my ELAs, they need to get back to me. David, if you are really busy and making the video on how to clean and fix the ELAs is going to slow you down, then you can use someone elses. I really miss my ELAs.

Pris: Give your ELAs, their 'moment' in the spotlight! :)

My Polished one has that and its the one with the problems. It also has left marks on my batteries which I hope are not "unusable" now. Someone else said they had protrusions also , he took a hammer to it and solved the misfires. I was to chicken to take a hammer as I did not have a way to hold it perfectly perpendicular/ level. I did not want to end up with a non-level contact.

I guess you could ask for new bottom contact and see if it solves it. I was wanting to do that, but I had slippage problems too. So decided to send the whole units back. I also hope David replaces my top contact as the Rhodium got scraped when I first got , and now is getting almost 50% exposed brass and it gets oxidation on it bad.

Thanks, P. After some thought, I think making a hammer jig--with the hammer never actually touching the contact--will be the best bet. A vice grip, a flat steel cylinder to put against the contact, and a hammer should do the trick with minimal to no scratches.
