Precise ELA Telescoping Mod by Super-T!

I received a shipping notice today. My 'incoming', is down to: (1)ELA and (3)Strata rda(ELA).

Davids initial idea was to make a "hybrid" module and a bottom cap. You can fit in the board and fold over the display to show opposite the board's button access. Thus needing to only use the length of the board to determine the overall length of the module for ELA. The buttons would just be on the opposite side as the display.

I expressed interest in a ECF DNA30 Coop.
Evolve 30 watt dna modules = $35.25 each
Evolve 500mAh Charger modules = $5.15 each

I received a PM with date and time when it goes live....
So when/if I receive my DNA30 modules, how about I get one to David... Maybe he can come up with something ??

Got a shipping notice today. Ive got an ELA & Strata incoming & seeing as how some others have started recieving their Stratas for their ELA's it just might be both. I am positively giddy!

I just received my ELA #3 (7/14 #16440). Probably ELA. Maybe, both.

Hi all, I purchased an ELA second hand which came with an extra set of SS accent rings. I tried to install them on the ELA and the bottom ring will not screw in all the way have tried WD40, washing etc with no luck. Any recommendations?

Sorry to hear about your problem. Personally, I have not experienced that yet. But, I have not attempted to test all of my spares. The original accent ring, went on and off without any troubles?

You need the magic fit tool, a ball peen hammer.

I have an extras set of ss accent rings and they dont fit on my original Polished ELA. They fit on my satin. Sorry, I cant sell my extra ss rings, I need it for when I do longer set ups. My hands are small and without the extra it sort of cuts into my finger.

Now, if David does do a one piece tube for ELAs then I can do something about your need for a top accent ring.

Sorry a little out of left field, but are the ELAs serialized? I guess I would find out in the next few days when I receive my ELA but apparently I cant wait!

They are not serialized, but there are roughly about 500? out there. It still has not been confirmed that there will be any more made.
