No telescoping; and only one tube (within the main body).

Are we looking at the same mod? It's possible I'm misunderstanding something, but last I checked, this was being billed as a telescoping mod, though I suppose my use of the word "tube" when referring to the top cap may have been confusing.

Yes i was referring to the "telescoping" part of the mod to be able to use 18350 batts in it's smallest form even if purchased with the kicked 18650 tube? I was/am confused a little about how this is going to work as a telescoping tube,if telescoping,is not part of the package???

You're right, actually, it is telescoping. What I meant was that it is non-threaded, i.e., it expands/collapses instantly without having to thread the pieces together. I'm not sure what in your original post made me think you were referring to threaded telescoping, maybe the "ring marks" comment, but you are correct, it is a telescoping mod.

If you could get them to stand up, you could use 4x 10180 (far left in the pic)... probably wouldn't last long though not to mention the 14.8 volts :)
I'm getting away from stacked battery setups... too much of a pita.

Yes, it is telescoping :) I think what he meant was that it was not a threaded telescoping design, hence it won't put any threaded wear marks in the extension tube. Plus, with this design, we eliminated the third section prevelant in some telescoping designs.

Well, it's official! No more unwarranted stalking of this site waiting for updates without reason, now I stalk with purpose! Ordered my ELA with kick tube, and was gonna get some of the Panasonic CGR's on the sale page but sadly they're out of stock. BTW, what's the difference between the green jackets and the grey?

THe estimated time was 6-8 weeks from the first post on this thread. Its now on week 10? As most people here that have purchased brand new products that are made in US and from people like Super-T that will not just pump out merchandise for a quick buck, we all expected delays.

They bought a new in house massive CNC machine so they dont have to have someone else produce the parts. That took a couple weeks to set up perfectly. From the latest updates looks like a couple more weeks or less, I hope:)

Lets put it this way : If Pope Julius II ever rushed Michelangelo to finish "Creation of Adam", we would probably see poor Adam getting the wrong finger.

Dave is a perfectionist. Perfection takes time. No rush from my side.

Here I thought I was dealing with "regular guys" I see im in the company of the "upper crust" I feel like one of the Three Stooges in one of those parties. :) I guess I do have champagne taste on a (cheap) beer allowance :)
