I apologize if this is buried somewhere else I couldn't find it but I use KR8808 and prefilled cartomizers only. Do I need to have the cartomizers in my quart liquid bag for TSA security?

Not really, I don't use, but carry a few back-up cartomizers in my non-clear (non Liquid) dopp kit that has my toothbrush, razor etc...Never been questioned, Unless your bringing a ton on board I would not worry.
No - probably will take 10 with me and planned on using the boxes they come in so I should be fine. I just always find my 1 quart bag fills up quick and usually have to invade the hubbys as well - so if I can not put them in the bag it will help.
if its 10 scatter a few in the 1 quart bag and the rest in your carry-on.
