from my experience with V4L cartos vs others that i have tried, it seems that they hold more juice and produce more vapor. they do tend to run a bit hotter if you chain vape. So they created the cool cartos which fix that issue and hold even more juice.

normal cartos that i have tried, hold about 15 drops of juice on average. Blank V4L premiums hold 20+ and the cool carts hold 25+.

Now this is all IMO and what i have seen. there have been times where 20+ in a premium carto was not the standard filling size, but that was like 1 out of every 10.

Also, i believe that V4L uses a bit more filler in their premium cartos which helps juice consumption and vapor production. i believe this because i opened a carto from them and one from a different company and saw less filler and it was not a tight around the inside of the carto cap.

i only use V4L cartos. they are very good and have not failed me yet :)

V4L cartos are made by manufacturers that also supply other retailers like Vapornine and Cigeasy. Vapornines "Turbos" are the same as V4L's "Cool Carts". I'm not sure whether Cigeasy's "Gold Label" carts are are the same as V4L's "Cool Carts" or the "Premiums".

As far as Cool Carts vs Premiums - they are both kind of like Low Resistance versions of the old standard KR808D-1 - they vaporize more juice faster to produce a more vapor and a bigger hit at whatever voltage you are using than a standard carto would. I haven't noticed that they hold more juice, but they definitely go through the juice faster because, well, more juice is getting vaporized. If your use them you should be familiar with refilling and keeping the cartos wet.

I really like them both. My opinion: The Cool Carts, because they run cooler, are awesome at higher voltages because they are less prone to heating up. The Premiums, IMO, produce a bit more vapor at lower voltages, and at higher voltage sometimes a big warm hit is just what the doctor ordered. I actually use both at 4.5 to 5 volts.

After going through 15 V4L Premiums, 15 V4L Coolcarts, and 15 Cigeasy Gold Label Deluxe (along with numerous cheap generics) I'm only buying Cigeasy's cartos from here on out.

They run cooler than V4L's offerings and they have an easier draw. I really don't like the V4L Premium cartos at all. They get hot, the draw is very hard, and they don't seem to last as long as the Coolcarts or Cigeasy Gold Labels.

This is my experience with standard KR808D-1 batteries, Cigeasy's Elegant, and a KR808D-1 Wetbox.

I want to understand your reason for only buying cigeasy cartos.. I see that you've said the V4L prem doesn't last as long as the gold or cool .. But does that mean the gold and cool are the same?? I guess not cause the golds last longer...

Anyone know the resistance of the golds, by chance??

Thanks guys!

I've tried all that you have, and also VaporNine Turbos. I thought V4L's cool carts were the same as Cigeasy's Gold Label Deluxe and VaporNine's Turbos. What's the difference?

From Cigeasy:

What is the difference between your gold label blanks and cool carts from v4l?

What's the resistance of the gold label carts?

Fred,

I have been told they are the same cartomizers by one of my customers. I do not know the resistance.

V4L Coolcart and Cigeasy Gold label side by side here. They look awfully darn close. However, the Cigeasy definitely runs cooler in a side by side test when puffing hard for 20 seconds on the same PT. I don't have a multimeter handy to measure resistance.

Cigeasy is also a dollar cheaper per 5 pack and a dollar cheaper for shipping. And if I order on a Monday before noon, they show up at my door Wednesday morning. Not to mention the freebies that Frank always throws in. Free bottle of Caramel Mocha with my last order.

My last V4L order took 10 days to show up... V4L's color options are nice though.

You should really try the new Turbos from VaporNine, haven't burned one yet and I've used a couple for over 2 weeks now filling once/day....draw was easier than coolcarts (of which I've filled, used and burned many) I tend to like sweeter juices and I think it almost carmelizes inside the coolcarts or something. The draw on the VaporNine's are just starting to get hard now on a couple that have been in service the longest. Unfortunately they only come in black with a white racing stripe so labeling them is tough but maybe some day I'll find a juice I can actually vape all day.
