Preparing for delivery of Mini & batts

Concerning the AW IMR 14500 batts and a WF-188 charger: Do I need to charge these batts right out of the package? And is there any settings on the charger I need to adjust... like a switch for mah setting. I think read something about this but its a little murky in my mind.

It's been my experience that batteries come with some charge on them, but not a full charge. I'd run 'em thru your charger first. I don't have a wf-188 so I can't help you there.

Be sure to post a pic of your Mini in the family photos thread when you get it!

I always put them on the charger when I receive new batteries but I don't think its a law.

Thanks guys. I guess it can't hurt to chuck 'em on there for a few. If anybody else knows about the functions of the WF-88, please fill me in.

Now, the only thing left is to figure out which juice to christen my new mini... decisions, decisions. Lol

The WF-188 does have a selector switch for 3.0/3.2 volts and 3.6/3.7 volts.

Use the 3.6/3.7 setting to charge your AW IMR 14500's. Happy vaping.

The only thing you need to avoid is charging 3v batteries on the 3.7v setting.

There is also a switch for 300mA or 650mA and i believe you can use either one is just a slower charging rate then the other. The 14500's charge pretty quick so the lower setting would probably be best when you eventually decide to get a Grande you'll probably want to use the 650mA setting for charging your 18650 batteries just saying

I concer if its set to the 3v setting they wont fully charge to 4.2v
