No doubt and most likely the ones bringing the house are drippers, but that sounds like a pain out and about, but it's all good. Better those supplies then extra packs of smokes

Its amazing how the longer you vape, the less you need to take with you. That's one of the wonderful things about vaping, it becomes a choice rather than a dependency the way cigarettes were. During my first two or three years, I had to have 2 mods, batteries and juice with me everywhere. Now I'm taking a mod and some juice and rarely use it when I am out and about (car not included) or just don't take it all. FYI, having a motorcycle or a scooter as your main transportation really helps with cutting down on mindless chain vaping. Now I just do mindless chain vaping at home. I need to slow down on that. My psychiatrist says I have an oral fixation stemming from childhood. It's not a weird breast feeding thing, my mom wouldn't do that. She was a Playboy Bunny in the 60's and said she couldn't risk them. She used to fill my bottle with turkey gravy because it was the only thing that would keep me quiet and make me fall asleep. Now I see a drip tip and think I'm getting gravy. That was before we knew of the dangers of putting gravy in baby bottles.

Is this for most of the day, or for a vacation? I'm seeing bottles of juice, cotton, q tips, coils, scissors, duffel bags, batteries, etc...surely for an average day, 2 mods filled up with fresh batteries should do it.....

It is for whatever people wish to share. I carry an emergency build kit under the seat of our car. Only used it a few times. Installed a new coil in an older RTA (forget which one) at a party once (party for us is usually one of the kid's bdays and the adults vaping in our corner of the backyard). I had to rewick at a 4th of July firework show at a park. We had to get there hours beforehand to save a cool spot. And once at a wedding where a friend of mine burnt my wick.

Jingles, my purse salutes your purse! That's a lot of setups.

Sometimes, if I'm waiting around bored, I will "investigate" what's in my purse, just to be amazed, LOL. No dead bodies.... so far. :)

Anna

Last Sunday, I was watching Football and NASCAR. I saw that I had 2 beers left. (haven't had one yet) and I needed to get some more. I asked my wife where they car keys were. She said in her purse. I stared at her purse. Then I decided I would finish my 2 beers and switch to bourbon and ginger ale instead. Purses scare me....

I own one black, classic purse. With a black hole cleverly camouflaged inside. It's only a problem when I'm driving the kid around, I will hand him the purse and say, "I need X thing." LOL, my husband would probably turn his nose up at this request, but the kiddo heroically finds stuff, LOL.

I'm training him to be good to his wife!!!!! LOL. You should have heard my "How to respect women talks," I can't post them fully due to vulgarity, but they were pretty funny (though on point, IMO, and in fact it is true that my son never posted derogatory things on bathroom stalls or FB about the latest breakup ,while the ex-gf was home crying, and he's never gotten someone pregnant, OR inflicted a pregnancy or STD on anyone, and he's 20. WIN!)

Ahem. Pardon my digression, but yes, I carry around a lot of things in there. Really the worst is when I have to go through security somewhere. The scanner will X-ray my purse in deep, deep confusion, and start asking me questions, then I have to root around in there and identify my "items." Vape: usually fine. Other stuff: sometimes more esoteric.... LOL. The only thing I've ever had confiscated was a bag of jolly ranchers, apparently that qualifies as "food" to the court system, LOL.

Still suffering from the memory from 40 years ago of being out on the lake in a boat with plenty of smokes, but no means to light one, I over prepare when going out.

Going out in our small rural town, one mod/tank does the trick. No worries since I can't get further then a couple minutes from home.

On the 30 mile trips to the nearest "city", still small enough it is hard to spend more then a couple hours including "the commute", a couple set-ups charged and filled works out fine.

For the monthly 100 mile journeys to a real city that will take the whole day, I take:
Smok GX2/4 in quad battery mode that will last the trip.
One of my dual battery mods as back-up.
5 or 6 tanks, all filled and reasonably new coils.
And both choices of cities have my favorite vape shop in the event all that craps out on me (and I am making a stop there anyway :D).

Since building/wicking is difficult for me, all that stuff stays home with the cat.

Oooh... Shiver. Out on the boat with cigarettes but no way to light them. I might have been taking wooden pieces of the boat and trying to make a bowdrill or something, SOMETHING. That's horrible. LOL. :) I don't blame you for being over prepared, and though I make fun of my purse, sometimes I am very happy to be a woman.

AND, that's not the only thing I carry!!! I carry around my craft bag that also contains my beverages for the day and my knitting.... I am a total Bag Lady, and I can admit it.... I think.

It's safe to say if I ever wind up homeless and muttering in the streets I will have AT LEAST one shopping cart, possibly more.....

Now you are getting me started. Depending on where I go, I bring my beverage of choice in my pocket. I carry a flask of bourbon if I know I am going places where I can have some...

Might want to add a few spare glass tanks in the build kit as well, just in case one breaks and perhaps some extra screws in case you loose one if you have to re coil...lol... only you know what you need, so who am I to say, but at least with rtas, I see all that as unnecessary. Yes, obviously if your going away for a few days I can see that, but a regular day? 2 rta's filled and charged is more then adequate. But that's probably just me because I hate extra clutter or extra things in my truck that I don't need, while some people like things in their vehicles that they might need...I'm just ocd with things like that, so please excuse my comments....as long as we are not bringing extra packs of smokes as back ups, it's all good

For me, I just use prebuilt coils so I never need anything to wrap a coil. It is all subjective, but to me, carrying a few extra tools isn't a big deal, especially if it fits into our car's first aid kit. This is the point of the thread, to see what people do when they go out. I prepare for the "worst case scenario". I mean a 3 hour tour can turn into a lifetime in paradise...

Same here. The longer you use the same RTA, the more confidence you get that its not going to crap out on you. Thats my take on it/experiance.
On longer trips (2 days+) I *almost* always take 2 setups with me and ending up using just one anyway.
Wire, cotton, etc stay at home, even on 3 week holidays. 2 or 3 freshly built RTAs, 200ml of flavorless juice (less gunking) and 2 mods is all I need.

I don't have rebuilding equipment in my car. But going out for work I usually bring two compete units, and an eyeglass case holding two batteries and a bottle of juice. And I've left my Pico RDTA inside the armrest for like two weeks, but rarely remember that it's there.

Just my RDA mod, an EVOD in my pocket, plus at least one bottle of juice. Going for the day I do take an absurd amount of juice though, it's easier than thinking about it! There is a piece of cotton in my stuff bag, but I haven't needed it since TC and lower flavoring has upped my rewick interval to over a week; I did use it once or twice back when it was hard to keep up with.

Rather than a rebuilding kit I would just carry a spare atomizer, set up and ready to go. I drip in Royal Hunter and Royal Hunter Minis (prefer the mini). That's been so reliable that for an outing of 6 hours or less I don't carry a spare. My mod (Kbox Mini) has worked flawlessly for 2 years or so, so I don't carry a spare unless I'm in the car. I'll get bit on that someday I guess. I carry 2 spare 18650s. Because I drip I always have a bottle or two of juice (15ml). So... a mod, 2 spare batteries and juice. I've never burned a wick so bad I couldn't wait until I got home. All the spare parts have to fit in jeans pockets most days since I don't drive unless I have to and rarely need to around here.

As was mentioned previously the longer you vape the more confident you may get with your gear, if you are lucky enough to find reliable gear that works for you. I like dripping- no glass tanks, and not much can go badly wrong on any day. The first year I vaped, I never left the house with less than 2 ready to vape Provaris, a ton of batteries and spare juice even when I was using tanks.

I only once in 3 years was in an unvapable mode (just for an hour or so outing). It was a couple weeks ago, and when you use a dripper (and a tiny Royal Hunter Mini at that!) it is a Really Bad Idea to leave all your juice home! I was desperately searching for someone vaping that could spare a few drops of juice. Not a vaper to be found and there were 100 people at the event.
