primer

Cartomizer/atomizer primer... we all know it's there, we all know it tastes incredibly nasty. Might be a newbish question, but what is it? What's the point? (I know this might not be the best venue, but I did a quick search and didn't find anything informative, and frankly I trust you folks )

pg based primer, same pg the chnese use in their e-juices. basically it is to keep the copper and electrical moist in a pg environment so nothing will oxidize if left sitting in a warehouse for months or years on end. Not a bad idea actually since e-cigs are sold all over the world in some pretty extreme environments. Oxidized electronics create resistance causing increased drain on the battery, and decreased life of the atomizers.
