The tank on my Prince TFV12 Q4 started leaking, so I check on Utube and found all manner of fixes. I took mine apart and found that the Q4 coil had a misaligned insulating spacer at the base which created a gap and leak. I guess we cannot just assume that the factory always does it right.

Saw in your other thread you have a Profile RDA - so I assume you're somewhat familiar with rebuilding.

Using a proper RTA, wicking and coiling it, would have taken less time than trouble shooting your premade coil. Cheaper too.
Yup, I got the V12 as part of the Smok Piv-x Mod kit so I will just run it out...I have a Joyetech RTA mesh coming. I also want to try TC control using SS coils. I'm still trying to decide between sqounk and tank. I guess most vapers have multiple tanks, certainly would help switching juice.

On an RDA you can vape all the juice in the cotton in a couple hits. I just let it get a bit dry, squonk/drip a new flavour, and in 2-3 hits flavour is changed.

That's something you can only learn to recognise from experience. It happened with one of my coils where the resistance was read correctly by the mod, but no matter how much power I dialed in on my mod, the coil wouldn't produce any vapor. Only after manually repositioning a wire the coil was firing correctly.
