You do have to bake it on, I did mine at 175 for 2 hours as that is the lowest temp my oven will go. Worked just fine.

All I can say is it worked, and there was no deformation whatsoever.

Now, I have not checked the calibration on my oven, so maybe it runs cool. 175 is as low as she goes.....

I used an old toaster/oven I have in the workroom, which has a temperature swing of 40 degrees. I cycled it between 130F and 170F and baked it for 2.5 hours. Came out fine for me as well. I think the heat just gases off the material faster.

Nice rich colors, decent texture, and durable as all get out.

The nice thing about baking the finish on is that after the 2 hours you have a fully cured piece that you can use right away. Most other finishes took overnight (or longer) to cure nice and hard. Paint it, get it in the oven, and by the time you have cleaned up your paint mess, and put it all away, it is almost done.
