Anyone else having quality issues with the Pro tank Mini?

I got mine a week or so ago and filled it up with a nice HHV liquid.

Today went to refill with something new and the thing broke when I tried to twist the head back on.

The glue just broke down and the glass piece came apart from the metal that connects to the coil. :(

Sorry to hear of your loss!

That is never good news--do you have a pro tank? The base can be used with the pro tank which gives another option for spare parts if need be.

I was looking at the Davide Mini--basically the same thing but it uses o-rings for a seal and can be completely taken apart for cleaning. Might be a better option.

Thanks for the update on the Mini--did you contact the vendor with your problem? They might want to know about QC issues or design problems with the Mini. Let them know, they might warranty the clearo for you. Keep us posted.

I don't have the full-size to swap the parts, but thanks for that info -- it could be handy for someone else.

Yes, I am keeping an eye out for the Davide mini. I already liked the idea of glass without glue, and now even more so!

I haven't contacted the vendor yet, but I think I will. It literally just happened.

Thanks for the feedback and info.

that was happening to the full size protanks for a while, thats why they redesigned it. Its crappy that they didnt correct it for the mini version. Id say contact the vendor maybe they will help you out.:2c:

Interesting, I didn't realize it was an issue with the full-sized tank. Guess that's what I get for being an early adopter of the mini. LOL.

Yeah, I think I will contact the vendor and see what they say. I hardly used it (just one tank-full).

Uh Oh.

What kind of juice was it? Was it one of those known to dissolve polycarb clearo tanks?

If so, there might have been a QC issue with the type of glue they used to attach the Pyrex tube to the base and how that substance performs using acidic juices.

I know V.2 of the ProTank has been redesigned to allow the tube to be replaced. I wonder if they've incorporated some of that design into the mini.

I hate to thank you for being a Pioneer and taking the first Tomahawk in the back, but... thanks for being said Pioneer.

I don't think the juice was a known tank-cracker. It was a Heather's Heavnely Vapes called "Heavenly Tobacco."

From what I can tell, the mini has none of the Pro Tank V2 features.

The really weird thing about the design is that I feel like they rushed it out and made hasty decisions. For example, the back of the box showed one design with 4 pieces (like what I think the Pro Tank v2 is), and an insert on the inside showed a totally different three-piece design. Even funnier, the actual product itself was a three-piece design, but NOT exactly what was shown on the box or in the included product insert.

I thought it was so weird that I took at pic:

Luckily I ordered two tanks, so hopefully the other one lasts longer.

Bummer. I haven't had this problem yet but I know that was frustrating.
Anyvape Davide Mini Glassomizer
I pre-ordered the Anyvape mini here. No glue, replaceable parts, removable drip tip. This site has been good to me.

Thank you! That looks perfect. And I think I can justify this purchase. I put myself on a two-month vape-spending moratorium -- with the exception of replacements and/or needed supplies. Hahah. Had to cut myself off, but this seems the *perfect* exception to the rule.

HHV liquids don't harm tanks.

It was definitely not the Heavenly Tobacco. None of HHV's juices harm equipment. In fact, they are equipment friendly.

That's just showing the 2 heads (you did get 2 heads, didn't you?) in the product literature.

Hi, yes they did include the two heads. But the insert for the product showed a three-piece (plus extra head) that differed from the three-piece design that I received. That just reinforces my hunch that they were in too much of a hurry. They probably had more than one concept and then just pushed one of them out the door.

EDIT: Just realized that you were talking about the illustration on the box. The big difference there is that it shows a removable tip, (which the mini doesn't have) as well as a different connector piece.

If you chat with them online before your purchase, they will give you a coupon code for 10-15% off also. Just ask them. Also they are giving away free viva nova tanks with orders $35 or more. In the comments section write, "Give me my free viva nova". This is first come first served
