Lol believe me, once you get it into your head it's NOT going away. For some of us it doesn't even go away after we've gotten one, and then more just start showing up. ;)

I say it Pro-Vare-ee, As in Professional and Variable... or Prolific and Variant. :D

My sentiments and pronunciation exactly. HOWEVER, that being said, remember:

You say, To-MAY-to.jpg, I say, To-MAY-to.jpg - but whatever you do, DON'T call the whole thing off.

Enjoy your {MAD LIBS INSERTION HERE}!

Ex-Wiccan here. And sorry, I gave up on witchcraft long before finding a ProVari.

Hmmm...maybe. I think one can stop casting circles or get bored with the politics that arise in every type of group I can think of, but I don't think the perspective ever leaves you.

I have a suspicion nobody will say 'if you're good with your gear, don't get one"

I say that all the time. I am obviously a ProVari enthusiast, but there is no one-size-fits-all device on the market. You have to pay attention to what the OP is looking for and offer appropriate suggestions. I think one of the worst things members can do is to tell a new vaper that if they don't buy XXX they are wasting their money, when it's obvious the device is out of their price range. Many new vapers have tried unsuccessfully to quit in the past and aren't convinced these electronic cigarettes will work. They may be hesitant to make a financial commitment (that they possible can't afford) on something they are unsure about. It isn't helpful to insinuate that what they can afford is junk and might make they give up before they start.

It's rare for people to use a ProVari as the very first device they ever tried (unless someone they know has one or they got to try one in a store). I'm not alone in having used an eGo. It got me off of tobacco and I was smoke free for 6 months before I got a ProVari.

I want to make vaping accessible to every person who wants to try it. A Twist or Spinner is the best option in many cases.

and I'm not sure that even if someone did that I wouldn't just ignore it... That's why I'm curious if provape owners practice witchcraft

Witchcraft has nothing to do with it. You read what current owners have to say about their devices and see how much we like them and how few problems there are. A product of any kind doesn't generate on-going devotion if it's not deserved. I suggest you read the Reo forum (down under suppliers, not the one here) which is another device with a much deserved devoted following.

Well said. Totally agree with that. Many people aren't sure vaping will work for them, and til they do it for a while, they won't know.

I guess when you decided to buy a Provari, you have committed to vaping. I think that's when I did... the bad news is... once you have one, you have probably opened the door to collecting more vape stuff:p.

I have a VTR, which I love and use all day, a ZMAX which I loved for about two months then the button got very flaky, a K100 as a backup /juice sampler.... And that daggone ProVari always always ALWAYS haunting me since I quit smoking in July...... It is like the sword in the stone

I'm loving my VTR too:). I like the shape, and I like the weight (would like it even more if it weighed more). It definitely gives the Provari a run for the money if you like heavy PV (which I do), and I love the fact that it's about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and won't roll at all. Right now, I don't see a whole lot of drawbacks to it, other than the fact that it can't fit all atomizers without the attachment. I don't like the attachment, and it totally takes away from the look of it. Time will tell if it has the durability of a Provari, but I have to say, so far so good.

Frankly, if I got my VTR FIRST, I may have not gotten the Provari for a while either. But there really is something magical about the Provari shape and feel. I wouldn't related it to witchcraft, it's closer to the finest US engineering.... something we don't see very often anymore. I liken it to the original Levi jeans, which don't exist anymore, but will never be forgotten. Well worth buying, and not even a day after you buy it, you won't remember how much it cost, nor will you regret the cost.

I had my VTR first also. Being that it is made in China with no quality control the 510 connection that twists became very loose. So loose that I could spin it and when you attached a tank to it the tank just flopped around in the ring that protects it. Not happy. The vendor told me to send it back to them so when I did that I went and bought my Provari mini the same day. My mini is all I use and when they sent me a new VTR I just stuck it in a backup drawer. Haven't used it yet.

I'm actually surprised you had that problem. Innokin is usually pretty good about the QC, I've heard few complaints along those lines about pretty much any of their PV's. Maybe not Provari-level toughness, but my old MVP bounced off the pavement on several occasions with nothing more than a scuff on the Jwrap.

My VTR was of the newer batch I guess, the wheel everyone didn't like is fixed, can't move at all. The entire unit is as solid as a brick. However, judging by the tons of notes about longevity for the Chinese batteries, I think I'll be lucky to see 6 months to a year before the electronics run into problems... and then, there's probably no fixing it and it's time for a new one. We'll see, it's not been out long enough for anyone to really know yet.

The MVP I sold to friend is still going strong, bought back in June. No clue how well the VTR would hold up though.
