It is true, combustion and tar taste can only be created by combustion and tar honestly.

You could let your vapes burn, and vape them in that manner. I have issues with chocolates I never want to change the wick in time because I think they taste GREAT burnt.
For me tobacco flavors held no appeal I did better with other things completely. There are some awesome flavors out there now go get em!

Happier? LOL

For me, the transition from smoking to vaping eventually turned out to be associated with the nicotine level. Flavored juices at 24mg nic satisfied the need for nicotine in my first months of vaping. It's that feeling of nic satisfaction that takes away the desire for a cigarette. At least that was my experience. It didn't really matter what the flavor was, although I preferred certain tobacco flavors. It was more about nic levels.

thanks for the info @vaper1960 i will get 18 mg too .. i smoke 1-2 pack a day can i ask you your secret recipe?

If you smoked a pack per day or more, you might consider starting out at 24mg/ml. Most newbies quit vaping and go back to smoking because they can't fulfill their nicotine cravings. You can always wean down to a lower level later.

I chased the tobacco flavor myself with no luck. I wasn't even necessarily trying to replicate a cigarette, I just had no interest in 'flavors'. Some others had suggestions here that I never tried, so maybe worth a shot. I finally switched to unflavored and found it to be the closest I could get. And that's even a stretch to say it's 'close' to a real cigarette. Good luck!

I'm a tobacco nut as well. I remember people here and at my local vape shop all telling me I'd move away from tobaccos and move to something else eventually. Six years later and I am still waiting to transition to other flavors. Not that I don't try some different flavors like fruits, menthol/mint, or drinks here and there, but they are more of a dessert vape, not something I can do for a day. For me, tobaccos are the nectar of the Gods which I vape all day, every day.

By the way, I gave up my search for the lit smoke taste years ago. Just happy I don't really remember what that tastes like anymore. However, when I started vaping, I thought that would be my holy grail vape. Now I enjoy the tobacco flavor for what it is, a flavoring which more resembles the taste of the essence of an unlit tobacco.

I can't say that I agree with some of these opinions. I mix SC Real Cig with 1.0% of Inawera DNB and it tastes pretty darn cigaretty to me.
I was going to mention Dirty Neutral Base. I've used it a couple of times, it really does have that "lit" quality.

Years ago, @dannyv45 turned me on to HS Red USA mix with DNB. Reds is still my go-to.

I still enjoy tobacco flavors from time to time. For a little tobacco in a tasty mix, an RY4 blend or Halo Tribeca pre-mixed. For a mild tobacco I like Halo Prime 15. When I really want a smoke Halo Torque 56 always hits the spot. I have some naturally extracted tobaccos that are tasty once in a while too.

I was a menthol smoker and never liked non-menthol smokes, but the tobacco flavors can be pretty enjoyable to vape.

I smoked cigarettes, cigars and pipes over 40 years. "Tobacco" has a broad definition.
I have been extracting my own tobacco flavors from pipe tobaccos for about three years now. For a little effort, a lot of patience, and realizing that failure only means to try something else, I have enough tobacco extracts on hand to last for years.
Here is a link to a thread I started, basically me talking to myself, and a few more knowledgable people joined in. The third post in this thread is about tobacco. Just about tobacco. Maybe if you could learn a little more about the tobacco taste you are looking for, it would be easier to shop at StixxMixx or Naturally-Extracted-Tobaccos.
Or you try the time tested method of search and eliminate. (although that might be a little expensive north of the border.)

Tobacco nuts show up here all of the time. Some folks here can't get enough of it.
Tobacco flavors, phooey!! Who needs em. When I switched to vaping, I did not want anything that even remotely reminded me of tobacco. So I chased the dessert rabbit down that hole. There, I found lemon tarts and strawberry cookies and cake and cheesecakes and I think I'm lost now....
