Hi

Just new to the forum and this is the first problem I've encountered.

I just received the above
5pc Boge 510D Soft Cap Empty Cartomizer(7 colors) [Boge 510 D] - $4.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--
and find I am unable to get any vapour at all using my Joye eGo 650 mAh batteries (fully charged).

I had used these cartos before:
Soft Top Black FIVE (5) Joye 510 compatible e-Cigarette blank cartomizers 2.2 ohm - Joye 510 - E Cigz Ecigs E cigs Australia Electronic cigarette Joye 510 , DSE 905 , 901 Atomizers Batteries Blue Foam Mega Batteries

with no problems, but thought I'd "upgrade" and get a better capacity for a better price.

The Boge cartos come with a small soft rubber disk with a "spike" on it, inside the normal disposable soft rubber protective caps. Is this something to do with the actual cartomiser unit?

I also have no idea of how many drips to use from a 30 ml Dekang bottle. Maybe I'm under/overfilling?

Maybe I'm not filling properly, maybe the battery is wrong?

Any suggestions appreciated, since I now have 75 of these cartos to get through!

Thanks

I use Boge LR 2.0s and I like them. If you overfill a carto it will gurgle. If you WAY overfill it, it will leak out the bottom. If you got a gurgle you done a good job. Put some drops in it on both sides and shake it like a thermometer. Keep repeating this process until some settles on the top of the polyfill and doesn't soak in . Also I recommend that you use a 70/30 PG/VG ratio, 60/40 tops. The more VG the thicker it will be. Cartos hate super thick ejuice. It's possible the one you are using is DOA but for my KGO the battery blinks if the carto doesn't work.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure I'm not doing the usual "overfilled slurpy". I used about 18 drips, just to get the filler wetted. I'm using Dekang Blueberry, which is not especially viscous. I fill my "old" 2.2 ohm soft tops with 32 drops new. Repeating this on the Boges gives no vapour at all. :-( The ones I ordered are LR and I'm wondering if the batteries I'm using have enough "punch"? I also have blinking batteries (I thought they did that when they were low on charge) but they seem to operate "normally" with the Boge cartos... except no vapour!

They are this battery

but you can't see the details coz they're out of stock. I think they are 3.3V but not sure. I have tried two different cartos with the same results.

18 "drips" is not enough to fill the larger capacity of an xxl, you will pop the coil as they will be too dry if you do not get them saturated. Also, let the polyfilling sit with liquid for about half an hour before vaping. That give the polyfilling time to evenly distribute liquid. The top of the pollyfilling should look wet and like a slushy.

The spike rubber thing is what is commonly referred to here at ECF as a ".... plug". You remove that once you have filled and let saturate. It is to keep the center air flow tube clear of liquid. Remove that before putting it onto your ecig.

I cannot see the battery you have, the link goes to a blank page, so I can't help with that. Are the cartos compatible with the battery?

Thanks for the ideas guys. I don't think it's a battery issue, since they only seem to flash when they are out of charge. This has only happened on the old cartos, which then still work when I swap to a new battery. No flashing with the XXL cartos. I have the new (bottom) and "old" one (top) shown here for comparison:

The little "spiked" soft rubbery piece is second from left. I'm guessing this is discardable. The longer carto is the XXL.

I have always been a bit timid to overfill, and 5vz, you said 18 drops is not enough. Can you hazard a guess at how many? The "old" ones seemed "happy" with 32 when new, but I don't have a capacity in ml. I'm hoping my timid underfilling will be the problem here.

Thanks again.
