Hey there,

So I recently purchased the volcano inferno and while I love the tank system I wanted to get into dripping.

I purchased a low res atty directly from volcano (INFERNO 1.5 Low Resistance Atomizer) and I have tried almost everything to get it to work. My first puff was very quick and tasted burnt. So I added more liquid so I wouldn't ruin the atty, and now it doesn't do a thing. There's no bubbling sound of the juice being vaped, Ive tried blowing it out and putting juice in again, I've tried different batteries (ego c) and nothing.

I really want this to help me quit smoking, but its making me so frustrated. If you guys have any tips or help on the subject that would be awesome. Am I doing it wrong or maybe I got a dud??

Thanks again.

I don't know that I can be of much help but I can share my experience as someone new to dripping.

One of the first adjustments I had to make was my draw. I typically take a longer, softer draw when vaping on a clearomizer or carto, but found that for atomizers a bit stronger pull is needed to make sure the liquid is being pulled up onto the coil.

Next, I found I had the tendency to flood my atty. Because of my initial weaker draw, I would often get a burnt taste which I took to mean I needed to drip more liquid. Unbeknownst to me this would flood my atty and I would get almost no vapor production. Before I figured out my error, I would just bump up the wattage and keep trying. Once I was up to 13 watts on a 1.5ohm atty and still had to vapor production, I knew I was doing something wrong.

Now, with a freshy cleaned atty, I add three to four drops of liquid, let it rest a moment, give it a hard draw without firing to prime, and begin vaping. After a couple pulls I will add an additional couple drops and continue on. This seems to have solved my issues, and I have been successfully dripping on both an Empire 2.0ohm atty, and a Surevapes LR 1.5ohm atty.

Are your coils getting hot when you fire, or is literally nothing happening?
