Im using evo type battery with ce4 / ce5 's . Problem is if I keep them in my pocket they seem to start leaking due them being big and me bending over and squashing them. Some the tops have completely come off (including the silver top ring) and all the e-juice leaked right out :)

Are clearos just not suitable? I ordered some shorter 650mah batteries and will see if the shorter length makes any difference.

Any sugestions? I was fine with the ce2's they didnt have the top drip tips so where less prone to breaking.

Also had problems with gunk like tissues and dust getting in the tip. Not good. Only solution seems to be a pen style clearo?

All these things are kinda inherent of the Drip Tip clearos.

And why I have stayed with CE2's. That and I like the Warmer hit better than all the current clearos.

The EVOD clearo has a metal covering that makes it a bit sturdier (and I like the performance better than the top-wick style of clearo).

But I try to avoid using my pants pocket, not because of leakage fears but because I don't want my other loose items to press the button while it's in my pocket. I pretty much never wear shirts without pockets since I started vaping (but then, I never wore them much earlier, since I smoked Camels in the soft pack and used my shirt pocket to carry them).

How about something like this stiff glasses case to clip on a belt? It comes in a couple sizes, keep buttons from getting pressed, things from getting broken in a pocket, lint out of everything, etc.

I carry mine in my pocket all the time. Its an easy fix. Get a Protank or Protank Mini. Problem solved. (Not the Protank 2 due to the removable drip tip). They are a lot easier to deal with than what you are using also.

Careful, as much as i love my protanks, with the 510 connector breaking issues i think some people warn against carrying mounted protanks in the pocket. The mini protank would probably be idea though, metal, ego threaded, glass. Only risk is if you somehow hit it perfectly and shattered the pyrex.
