Has anyone else noticed rather weak performance when using 1.25 dual coil cartos with IMR 16340 batteries? I picked up some of these cartos recently to use on my P16. Initially they performed about on par with my old standby, the Boge 2.0 carto. Although I was disappointed, since I expected more from DC's, I could live with it. But after a day, I've noticed a significant decline in vapor production and flavor. They're now performing more like a HV atty on 3.7 volts.
Can anyone explain why this is happening? I've read that the AW IMR 16340 should be able to handle 4.4 amps, which I believe should be sufficient. My rather limited math and electrical knowledge tells me these things should be far surpassing the Boge 2.0 in every way. But that is certainly not the case.
Do I simply need larger batteries, or more voltage? I'm not sure why that would be the case, but I don't see what else it could be.
