Problem With Cartos

I have been vaping for a little over a week now. I haven't had many problems and have pretty well got it down pat. My batteries are fully charges, and I am having problems with my cartomizers "shorting out" like... I try to puff but they are starting and stopping intermittently. I can't figure it out. I've topped off my cartos, and I've even blown them out to make sure they weren't clogged. These are new ones as well.. Only about a couple of days old. Could they still be gunked up and need cleaning??

Edit: It is a VK from V4L, and the cartos are blanks I have filled myself with PG

I've had this problem with one mod that i use. Sometimes, i have to just barely unscrew it from the battery and it vapes alot better. Dunno if this will help you, but worth a try.

That actually seemed to help for now, thanks.

I'd hate to do this everytime I vape, what a pain.

could be the threads on the battery, or the threads on the carto. I know the threads on my kr8 get kinda nasty after a week or 2. I use some alcohol to clean them, like vodka, or PGA or something
