Problem with Kanger Subtank Plus mini RDA

Hello there. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place to begin with. Haven't used a forum in literally years. Looked over the rules but didn't find anything regarding this type of topic.

Anyways, I am requesting assistance here. Today I received my Kanger Subtank Plus. Everything was going fine and smooth until I attempted to used the RDA. I bought the Plus to use while at work and on the road, since I don't care much for dripping and driving. I'm currently using a sigelei 150watt with dual VTC5s. Now, my huge problem is mainly a simple one. It seems that the contact pin for the mini RDA doesn't make contact with the lower hardward of the Subtank, which causes my sigelei to say "Check Atomizer." Now I tested it with the OCC coils provided as well and they work then. I checked to make sure it wasn't a faulty RDA and it will fire on my MVP3. It just refuses to fire on my Sigelei and I've seemed to narrowed it down to the contact pin, but I may be wrong. I'm just trying to find out if there are any possible fixes to this or if maybe I received a faulty Subtank Plus.

Well for some reason the Subtank decided to start working after I took it completely apart and rebuilt everything. So I guess this problem is solved for now.

I have seen this on the Subtank Mini.
When cutting the leads on the coil you might not have cut it completely and one side was probably touching the side of the barrel. This happened with me and it worked when I wrapped it and tested it without the cotton, after wicking and soaking and putting the barrel on it would not work. My suggestion is to cut it very short under the screw. If any point pertrudes from the sides open the screw and bend the lead under the screw head.

Alright will consider. I've just built a bunch of coils for the subtank. They all keep shorting out though. They can fire a few times, but then it shorts and the coil snaps
