Problem with my 900 mah battery

Guys, please help me I have a problem with my 900 mah battery.. I purchase my kit 2 days ago T-Rex with 901 LR atomizer and 900 mah battery. I charged it for approximately 3 hours and it only last for 4 hours continues vaping.. Is this normal or you think there's a problem with my battery ??​

Welcome to ECF aldread. IMO 4 hours is rather weak for a 900mah battery, are you sure you got it fully charged?

Yes,, I already charged it 4 times now since I bought it.. It only last for 3-4 hours continues vaping.. I vape a lot coz my 10ml juice is almost at 60% since I bought it 2 days ago.

And how often are you dragging on it? Continuous?

One guy was running through a 900mah battery in 2.5 hours by using 1.5 ohms on it (cuts your time in half) and vaping constantly (cuts your time in half or worse). So he was only getting 1/4 of the time that a person vaping moderately w/ standard resistance would get with the same battery.

100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping with standard resistance (like 2.5 to 3 ohms). I consider moderate to be vaping less than 1/2 the time.

What I do to not continuously vape is - at work a set the ecigs down. I have to use some self control. At home, I put the ecigs in a nearby room, not next to the TV or computer. I only put on by my side if I know I will be stuck away from the vaping room for more than 20 minutes.

Well.... when I first started my eGo 1000mah battery would last 1-1.5 days while vapeing about 5ml a day, I would contact the vendor if I were you.

901 LR atomizer and 3.7 volts for the battery.. My friend is using 600mah battery with same atomizer as mine but he last for 10-12 hours before needing to charge again..

Hard to say aldread, do you know the resistance (ohm rating) of the atomizer you're using? I am assuming it to be 2ohms or so.... If that is the case then yes

I'm not sure Oban.. but the seller said it's Low Resistance 901.

This is the size of the 650mah T-rex battery (maybe the mean they whole device since my Riva 510 650mah battery is more like 68mm tall - not including threads since 510 battery threads are recessed).

At 1.8-2ohms I would think you should get more time out of your 900mah eGo clone, but as they say 'your mileage may vary'.

A 900mAh battery should last, even heavy users, a full day.

I think my battery really have a problem not so lucky with picking unit I guess.. *Sigh* I already talked to the owner but he said he needs to test the battery if there's a real problem with it will take about 3 days-5 days and if proven that there's a problem with it they will replace it with a new one 1 week I guess without ecig will make me smoke again.

Also its important to remember that long drags take their toll on the battery harder than short ones. I have a 1000mah battery and I have killed it in 4 hours before on standard resistance atomizers.

My battery has been replaced by a new 900 mah.. But still it only took me 6 hours to use it.. I'm a heavy user coz I'm still a newbie.. almost 2.5-3ml per day. Charging it for 3-4 hours and I wait until the red light is gone (meaning fully charged) use it continuously for about 5-6 hours and then i'll be needing to charge it again.. Is this really normal ? I drag a little hard, and use it continously (6min longest break)...

I dunno mate, all I can say is that it's possible.

If I can kill a 280mAh batt in 1 hour with a standard carto coz I'm going hell for leather on it with weak juice and some pretty heavy external stress, it's certainly possible.

Can I suggest upping your nicotine strength. It won't change your battery but it will stop you from hitting the thing every 2 seconds.

I'm using 901 LR atomizer mate.. I tried testing medium nicotine level and it's kinda hurt my throat but not too much compared to Hard..

That can be fixed as well mate. Getting juices that have a little VG in them will be kinder to the throat.

I know I'm not helping you with your battery concerns, it's just that I think it's less likely a problem with the battery and more about the load you're putting on it.
