Problem with odysseus ggts base

Hi guys,

I was trying the ody ggts base and unfortunately it gets stuck in the middle while screwing into the collector tank. The problem appears only with the collector tanks that have slots in it. I tried 3 collector tanks with slot, it gets stuck on all of them. I tried it with with a collector tank with 4 holes it works fine. Other GGTS bases like iatty and Penelope work fine on all of them. Imeo can you test that?

Its a known issue aal. I made new bases for people that had this issue, so they can ask their seller to receive one for free. They will be ready at the same time with Ithaka

EDIT: by the way I got this base with the last stealth pre order

at least 10% of the bases had problem aal. Some people mention it on Greek and USA seller. So I asked the sellers to test the bases before send them to customers and they found that about 10% were faulty. Some of the bases were already send of course.

This can happen while the cnc machine works at nights and a tool brakes. Noone is there to see what happened. Thats why I desided to check all pieces that were made during the night

Hello Imeo.I bought an Iatty/GGTS base from COV right before the last pre-order arrived.I received an Iatty from the last pre-order.When I tried to screw the plastic Iatty piece into the GGTS base,the threads don't seem to match.What should I do?Any help is appreciated.Hope you're well.

I picked up another GGTS it's got the 4 holes, and my Ody with the base don't seem to fit on it, but it fits fine on my GGTS with the slots..
I guess I'll have to let Bruce know.. You are so good to us Imeo for such great support for your products!

Thats a strange problem wolf. Maybe your base is corrupt. Ask Bruce to change it for you. But first put a sandpaper inside the threads of base, maybe a small piece of metal prevends the right screwing. You will not damage threads, no worries

Yeah imeo I know, I sorted it out with Vassilis with no problems. What I meant is the base without a problem will fit all GG CTs and not that you have bases for new CTs and ones for old CTs
