Hey everyone, Ace5High here with another question or two. I've been using the Total Electronic Cigarette for about 4 days now and this is the problem - the packaging says that each cartomizer equals 25 cigarettes, yet I am getting only 12 or 13 cigarettes' worth of puffs out of one cartomizer before it is totally spent. I thought maybe it was just the 2 cartomizers that came with the starter kit, but I am having the EXACT same problem with cartomizers out of a fresh replacement pack of the same brand. It's really frustrating that instead of one cartomizer lasting 2 and a half days, I go through nearly a whole one per day. Has anyone else had this problem or is there any known solutions to this, other than using a completely different battery/cartomizer combo (i.e. another brand)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am on a $0 budget as far as getting any replacement cartomizers, batteries, etc, unfortunately. However, I DID already send an email to the company (njsmokes.com) and am waiting until Monday morning so I can call them up and complain. Hopefully, I get some freebies out of this, at least. But I really would like a solution to this, no matter what it may be. (I just spent my last $100 on another mod for my guitar, hence the current $0 budget.)

A cartomizer does not equal a pack. Some vendors even claim a cartomizer is 1.5 packs. A cartomizer is actually more like 10-12 but you may run it dry and get burnt singed taste if you vape them that low. We mostly use manual batteries and good cartomizers with soft cap on the end and keep the carto stuffing damp with juice - a moderate vaper can get a week of use out of a cartomizer with thin clear juices. I can run about 15-20ml through a carto.

And BTW if what you have is a subscription, I would cancel it. If you can't cancel then try to figure out what model it really is.

I looked at it - female recessed threads on the battery?
If it's at least 9mm diameter
then
If it uses a steel atomizer covered by a tan cartridge - probably RN4081 or DSE103 (use RN4081 cartomizers)
If it came with cartomizers (even though they are calling them cartridges) - cartomizer holds juice and screws right on battery - still probably RN4081

If it's not RN4081 then second guess would be 510-threading (does not mean it is a 510 or would not fry in a 510's charger)

Bottom line - if you are stuck with it use eliquid to make your carts or cartos last longer and try HARD not to leak liquid on the ends of your auto batteries - you can damage/kill batteries with liquid if they have a hole in the end of the battery, especially auto batteries

WELCOME TO THE ECF

You got yourself one of those ripoff kits to be honest with you. Whenever a company claims that one cartomizer is equal to 25 cigs or something then that's a big sign. One carto isn't even worth 1 cig worth of puffs. Unless it's one of those XXL types.

Cartos need to be topped off every 10-15 drags. Which means you have to add about 5 drops or so whenever you notice a drop in flavor. So, it's a good idea to carry about a couple bottles of juice and cartos. Just to get through the day.

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. I wonder why these types of companies still exist to be honest with you.

Yeah, most of those vendors exaggerate the number of puffs and such. My only experience with those types of vendors was trying some BLU cartos on my 510 device. They were smaller cartos than normal 510 cartos, and were inconsistently filled. I'd easily go through 2 or more per day.

I don't know of any cost-free solution to keep you going. But, you can generally pop the mouthpiece off of a carto and refill them several times before they give out. Though, it's best to top them off before they get very low. It would be wise to get some refill juice when you can, and go that way. Most vendors will sell 30ml bottles for 8-15 dollars, and that's probably around 30 full carto fills.
