Persistence, credit card "threat" and the power of this forum!
Well they most certainly seemed to be experiencing some technical issues! When I did finally get in contact with them everything went smooth. I got an e-mail with a tracking number shortly after speaking with jake. Who knows what happened, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure you can see from my previous posts why I was concerned, heck I think anyone would have been.

I agree with you 100% This forum and members have the POWAA!

Corejuice, thanks for keeping us posted. IMO, one of the most valuable functions of this forum (ECF) is holding vendors to task, and helping people avoid companies that just plain suck. That is a service only fellow vapers can provide. I hope they do you right.
I agree! It seems like they have taken care of it, I will update this thread when I get the package.

anyways if you like tobacco flavor i would highly recommened inawera..as of late all i mix and vape anymore is flavorwest extreme ice, a few inawera tobaccos, and unflavored. after a over two years of vaping i finally realized flavors are annoying and pointless...i constantly change everyday and its just more chemicals youthrowing at your lungs that may or may not be safe to vape. But i wont get into that because ill orobably get bashed not to mention unflavored taste closest to a marlboro light IMO for some weird reason ive been loving it and i can mix a years supply for like 50-$100 bucks..everyone is dripping at 150 watts at that point you cant even taste the flavors just more chems. not to mention the anti-vapin community loves to add flavors to the growing list of reasons to throw out vaping..try inawera tobacco symphony mixed at 2% ( 0.6ml for a 30ml bottle) really good simple light tobacco flavor that is not candied sweet or too dry its alittle salty mildy sweet with a light nuttiness like you would get exhaling a cig its my hidden gem

They above and beyond for ya, happy I ordered a sample from them. A little high shipping to try a flavor cause I have loads from a huge order at TPA. I so wanted to try the passion fruit coconut lol. 5ml 10 bucks ships with the sample was outrageous when and if I love their nic I'll get it lol..

BTW their vg flavors need steeping vg takes a moment to flavorize. Mr Mann busted my cherry with DKTaB when I 1st started vaping and it was all the rave, told me give it a week or two' I said to myself no way that will do anything this stuff is gross, -- two weeks later and I was in love... All VG Boba's bounty gets new grossed out customers all the time at 1st taste they hate it then wait it out due to forum coercion and fall in love..

I haven't forgot about you guys or this thread! The shipping label was printed with a tracking number but USPS hasn't received the package yet. I will keep you updated :toast:

Well, I've been monitoring my e-mail for updates on the tracking number I received on the 6th. The tracker kept saying it hadn't received the package... Finally Friday the 16th came around and still the USPS didn't receive anything - ten days went by so... I contacted nude nicotine again VIA e-mail.

corejuice - email to NN - jake said:
Hello Jake, I see the USPS still hasn't received anything. I hope you didn't forget about us! I understand you were making some new tobacco extract and seem to be rather busy. No rush, just please let me know whats going on. :)

Order #XXXXX
Shipping label - Tracking XXXXXXX

Thanks

I didn't receive a reply back, (aside from another newsletter) and still haven't..:mail:.
Around 24 hours after my follow up e-mail with nude nicotine / Jake, the USPS sent me a e-mail! They finally received the package! It should be here tomorrow! After 5 or so days I said the heck with it and got some new toys. I ordered some additional flavoring, nic, PG , VG, EM crystals, menthol crystals, 100 1ml syringes, 50 - 10ml bottles and some other goodies that should be arriving soon! :vapor: I did go a little crazy but I plan on doing a lot of test batches at 5ml. This way I can taste test every so often while they steep. I know you kind folks will help me out if i run into a snag! <3

EDIT: In case you're wondering I purchased the flavor, nic, PG, VG from wizard labs - man do those guys respond quickly! I've even had some orders changed around with no problems I think I've found my main vendor. The 100 pack of 1ml syringes I got off e-bay the bottles from a vendor in china. I regret the chinese vendor as I later found a 50 pack of 10 ml bottles on e-bay for the same price, and closer to home.

I will update you guys sometime tomorrow on the nude nicotine replacements! :toast:

I received NN's newsletter this morning. Apparently they have had problems recently with volume and USPS changes in their area. This might explain the slow delivery and full mail box and so forth. I'll copy it in here. Doesn't explain the black gunk, but some people here have come up with possible explanations that seem to make sense.

I've been waiting a while for my very first flavoring order, which was some samples from NN. Given the stuff below I reckon I'll give them a pass.

NN Newsletter

The last few weeks have been a trial and tribulation for us at the Nude Nicotine laboratory. The new-years resolution coupon code really did reach a massive amount of new DIYers; and in combination with the Reddit 'Hug of Death' that had ensued thereafter, we were really put up for trial...

Of course it couldn't have come at a better time. Uf! Our newest GC/MS machinery was needing validation and we had scheduled a flight for the Agilent representative to visit and set up our machinery with us. I (Jake) was tasked with keeping this part of Nude Nicotine functioning while formulating for the production line, both wholesale and web. It was quite a task.

3 new hires later, we are back in full force, ready to handle a double capacity throughput since the end of 2014! Duplicate machinery has been purchased for nearly every process in the lab we perform, and our hours have been drastically reworked to assist us in meeting USPS deadlines. We have also located a secret "drop-point" near our lab that services DIRECTLY to the sort facility in 92199! A lot of investigation went into finding this location after the 'hug of death' scare in an attempt to force through many more packages than normal through the system.

This leads me to a sincere, wholehearted apology to anyone who may have experienced a slight shipping delay from the period of the 7th through the 12th of this month. We were completely unaware that after the new year, a MAJOR change of management at our local post office (92121) had been implemented. Drivers were now returning to stations after sorting trucks had departed further delaying delivering. ....... me right???!!!?? (Insert Jonah Hill voice where appropriate) After a heated call or two with our local post office rep, we located this 'hot-spot' and have set up recurring pickups DAILY that happen at 1PM from our laboratory. As long as we are able to get these out by 1PM PST, they will go DIRECTLY TO THE SORT FACILITY! A sincere, wholehearted effort to alter the horrid logistics that seemingly happen @ USPS after 5PM :(

We are all back-to-normal at the Nude Nicotine lab as of this weekend (thank you Martin Luther King for fighting for civil liberties and for Nude Nicotine to have one more day to formulate for USPS). 24-48 hour formulating/processing time still holds true, and we are pushing straight on ahead!

Back to the hires... figured this would be amazing news for everyone - in the near future we will be introducing you all to Jacob (that's right Jacob and Jake.... seriously...???!?!?!) our newest process development engineer. Jacob brings a wealth of experience from batch-scale liquid handling at a local pharmaceutical company, as well as his most recent venture in kilo-Liter water desalinization utilizing a novel membrane technology. His production experience will allow Nude Nicotine's daily operations to accelerate leaps-and-bounds, by automating nearly every process we perform, all while maintaining the meticulous quality and precision you come to expect from our chemistry staff :) He will also be able to help us expand ou contract manufacturing capabilities, which readily leads us into our next topic......

@englishmick Ty for the information. Yeah I got the same newsletter but honestly I didn't even read it until now. :(

That sucks! I'm sorry to hear he has been having some problems, and again I can understand that. I figured the newsletter just wanted to inform me of some special discount on products or what not so I never took the time to read it. I'm glad to see he has the decency to mass e-mail his clientele. I try to spread the love ($) to decent companies and I do like the BRY4 they make! I'll wait and see how these replacements turn out and go from there. Thanks very much for the post I would have never read it had you not posted. :toast:

Vape mail!!! :vapor:

Jake - Nude nicotine went ahead and sent me a 50ml bottle of 36mg/ml nic, BRY4, kiwi strawberry, menthol tobacco, and a complimentary honey tobacco with 3 mg/ml nic! All of the tobacco flavors seem to be filtered properly! I went ahead and smelled the flavors the bry4, menthol tobacco smell so much better then the previous ones they shipped! Something either went wrong with the filtering or it was indeed old.

The BRY4, menthol tobacco, and kiwi strawberry share the same VG and EtOH lot numbers of the previous "bad" flavors.
VG lot# C011
EtOH lot# D006

Am I correct in assuming the alcohol and VG lot shouldn't really matter? Please let me know, I'm not sure how this stuff is processed!

In summary nude nicotine did stand behind their product and even gave me an extra flavor to boot!

I had an issue with my first order I placed with NN back in February and received no response after sending two messages via their website and one email directly. A couple of weeks later I placed another order and added a note addressing the problem I had with my previous order, and (although I never received a response to my previous messages) they corrected the problem and also gave me a sample concentrate as a freebie. (I should mention that my previous order included a freebie as well.) As far as receiving a prompt response initially regarding a problem with an order, there is definitely room for improvement because a quick reply/resolution (or at least an acknowledgement) is mandatory in any customer service environment although in the end my problem was resolved.

On a different note, the main reason I tried NN is because of the 100% VG flavoring/concentrates they offer. The BRY4 is a nice vape and I do enjoy most of the other flavors I've purchased so far. As an added bonus, they're about an hour drive from me so my orders arrive fast (barring any issues specifically with USPS which was another issue I experienced with my first order).
