So I have 4 of these 4.8v Nimh batteries and one of the chargers all ordered from madvapes in the last 6 weeks..been ordering 1 or 2 per of the batteries per order (3 orders ) and the first 2 I ordered worked well at first ....I just received 1 in an order Friday and NONE of these batteries work in my maxi Rs anymore some charged a few times and worked fine ...others worked out of the box and maybe for a single charge after that ....I dont know if it's the charger ...the battery or the actual Maxi RS that is "malfunctioning" :(
I will say that the spring i the Maxi RS just fell out a few days ago (dont know if its supposed to do that) I popped it back in there and it seems to work still LOL. I also put 2 16340 batteries in ..and they work just fine .....But OE of the Nimh batts are working :(

Has anyone else had this issue?? E cigs hate me LOL

It's possible that the spring is not pushing the NiMh batteries up far enough to make a good contact with the switch on the stack. They are shorter than the 'normal' batteries and their lack of 'button' on the top can sometimes cause them to not make great contact. Try gently stretching the spring out a little and see if that helps. Other than that I can't think what might be causing it... You can pick up a cheap volt meter from Harbor Freight or somewhere like that, shouldn't be more than $5 to see what voltage they are coming off the charger at. After 3 or 4 hours of charging mine show 5.7v'ish.
