How many threads does your upper chimney screw into the lower chimney?

I hate hate HATE to admit this, but after watching plenty of reviews/build videos, from both "celebrity" and non-celebrity reviewers, I opted to go with Grimm-Green's style of build and assembly.
It just felt the most kayfun-ish to me, which is where the majority of my building skills reside.
Let's work this out!

I do GG's style of build too, simple single coil - no fuss, no muss. It lives mostly upright - in hand, on the desk or in a pouch in the purse. I may set it on its side and see what happens.

I'll have to check the number of threads on the chimney the next time I take it apart. Unfortunately for you I rewicked this morning so it will be a few days since it's just one of the atty's in my daily rotation as I change flavors. I am paranoid about making sure I completely screw them together. I learned my lesson after losing the juice in a full size Erlk that wasn't tightened down completely. That wasn't pretty and I was as unhappy as you are now so I know the feeling.

I'm not sure if it lasts longer than KGD, but my package has lasted a long time and I've been pleased with the taste. RB has used cotton bacon and has been pleased with it.

I haven't tried that one. I'm sorry. My experience with TPR has been pretty positive, though. The only one I tried and didn't like at all was Lemon Chiffon Pie. They do a flavor of the week (changes on Monday night) - 30mls for $11. There's a 2 bottle limit. You might want to check that out.
