Thanks, only 5 more Saturdays to go. :|

I can't even imagine the thoughts that go through your head during these 5-6 weeks each year.

What was that movie where people would be arrested before the crime? For their thoughts, basically. Tom Cruise, twins... whatevs.

You'd be in jail, I'd bet. ;)

I do! But must work that Friday and Saturday. So, no travel plans for me.:)
But my wife will be gone.:w00t:

I used to travel quite a bit for work. My husband called it quality time coz he had the house to himself! He'd also cook up all the stuff he likes but I try to avoid (fettuccine alfredo being his favorite).

Happy Saturday! Sorry gnees. Retail would be fun, if there were no customers! I worked retail when I first graduated. Christmas was a piece of cake compared to Washington's Birthday in DC. We had to work 35 non-stop-ya-can't-take-a-day-off days. That was a rough marathon for sure.

Washington's birthday should be the biggest holiday of the year after Xmas and Easter. No General, no America.

Bronze!!! That is SO politically incorrect. It's "President's Day". Please get it straight from now on, lest you offend someone.

Whoa! I'm a retail manager and no way I get Thanksgiving off /sadface! Only holiday a year we have off as in store closed is Christmas day. But...this year, instead of closing at 6pm Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, they are staying open till midnight. Sigh. Retail...
I hope you at least get Thanksgiving Day off.

We truly are becoming a nation-slipping-away (from ourselves).

Seriously... (smh)

Presidents come and go. We've had 44 of them so far. There's only been one George Washington. Lucky us! :D

Yea but blame it on the shoppers. If they wouldn't demand it or take advantage of it it would stop. There will be no thanksgiving in my house this year since my wife has to start work at 1pm thanksgiving day for the "Black Friday" stuff and might be working a split shift getting off around 3am. Then has to go back on Friday as well. Essentially I'll be by myself those two days with only time for a hi n bye thing.

Yet again proving my point. Retail could be fun if there weren't customers!
