I've read that you can open the switch housing and replace just the rubber part without de-soldering and re-soldering a new switch. Good luck with the repair! Look forward to reading how you make out with this.
Yeah the guy describes that in his listing, should make things a lot easier, I wont have to hunt out my old soldering iron and magnifying lenses :)

I thought about getting one or two of those switches to keep on hand, and it seems you can replace the contact plate as well, so basically rebuild the switch to like new while still attached to the board, pretty cool stuff. I wish you much success in reviving the old gal :)

Well whilst it's all apart I might aswell switch that out too, nice one bud! I tried pursuading him to let me give it a nice brushed stainless steel finish.....

"Took me 3 bloody years to get it looking like that, no chance!"

Bronze get's the credit for the thread title change! And I agree, it's a dandy!! It's like moving into a new house. Just when you thought the couch looked great in one location, turns out it's much better suited to a different one!

I don't think you are taking votes any more but I vote yes on this thread. Hope all goes well with your brother RB.

Thanks Ping. The thread is going to stay and hopefully flourish!

Just spoke with my brother. He's resting, but still not feeling well. Worried, I am.........

Right now my daily driver is an authentic Kayfun v4 in long mode, currently filled with some Honey Pearry from Vapor Chef, on an iStick 50.

As backups in my vape case I have my P3 in 18650 mode with either a KFL+ or Taifun GT to choose from.

All atties using the same 26g 8 wrap coils with KoGenDo cotton.

Other flavors regularly in rotation besides Honey Pearry include Trillian (also from TVC), Heisenberg and Se7en from Innevape, Sucker Punch from Suicide Bunny, Tribute from Nixteria, and Unicorn Blood from Fuzion Vapor. As an occasional treat I'll score myself a bottle or two of Castle Long Reserve...when I can actually find it.
I use 28g 7 wrap around 2.5 for aprox. 1.2 ohm in all with KGD.

Jeez - just saw this and already am six pages behind~~

I gotta go mow and pickup lots of leaves, so I will leave you guys to it. I love my Radius, I love my P3 in 18350 mode in my leather case and lanyard, topped of course my my Kabuki.

I imagine I will hop and skip around in here, and with "Fallout 4" releasing on Tuesday, all my free time will be spent gaming for the next six months - so if you want me, start a conversation, or hit me on Facebook, etc...

Of course, I'd love to spend 5 or 6 hours a day just keeping up with these threads...but oh well :)
