I saw the most, ummm, unique cereal at the grocery store yesterday. I guess it's for breakfast, but I couldn't eat it on an empty stomach.

Might as well eat a Pop Tart.....

I try not to go shopping and when I do I try to do it in 15 minutes or less. I made a bad decision to go to the store today. Not only was it way overcrowded, they just remodeled so nothing was in the usual places. Then I get up to the self-service lines and there's one employee helping 10 self-service checkouts. Some people shouldn't be using the self-service lines if they don't know the difference between a tomato and a persimmon. And don't know how to spell banana. Found out if you type in binana, you won't get a picture of a banana.

I shopped last night. It took longer than usual. I, like you, get in and out as quickly as possible, but I haven't been to a real grocery store in weeks and had to stock up. (It's been getting embarrassing buying dog food every two days at the convenience store.)

I refuse to use the self-service lines at the one store that has them. It takes too long. There is an upside to reaching a certain age - if you look bewildered, clerks do things for you. It helps to shop in slippers.

I might give it a try.

It hasn't gotten the best reviews. The keyword appears to be "chocolatey" as opposed to chocolate. It's reported that the chocolate taste comes from dark flakes of cereal and the pieces that look like chocolate are for texture. One review said that eaten alone the pieces taste like wax. Still, taste and mouth-feel are subjective, so I await your review.

Punkin Pie in the oven - Check
Cranberry Orange Relish made - Check
Turkey and all the trimmings ready for tomorrow - Check

We're going to my brother's tomorrow, but I'm cooking the dinner. If I don't say so myself, I cook a mean Thanksgiving dinner. Yes I do!

I may not get the chance to check in tomorrow, so I wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope you get to spend the day with the people who mean the most to you, even if on occasion, they annoy the poop out of you.

I give thanks for so much. For Charlie. For the kitties. For my health and all the people in my life who have touched me in so many ways. Both good and not good. I also give thanks for my ECF family, in the US and outside the US. You's guys are the best of the best and I've come to know and admire so many here. I am privileged to be part of this community.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I buy all my cat food and litter from Amazon now. It's so much easier than having to lift two containers of litter into my car. I would have never used the self-serve lines had I not seen my sister do it. She's quick. Haven't tried shopping in slippers yet mostly because I don't have any.

Happy and Thankful Thanksgiving to you, and to all of you Pro Chatters.

And for those who might be watchin' their weight... (why you would I dunno, but just in case)...
