Yup, 30g ... simple, single coil on the little blue screwdriver. I've never actually had to rewrap a coil because they went out of shape or place ... I just redo them because I like them better when new.

I change the coil approx every 5-6 rewick

I like 30 Ga too, lately been using some 29. I still have a bunch of 32 and every once in a while I'll twist up a length of it and wrap a coil with it, I really like the vape from the twisted 32. For low watt MTL vaping the thinner wires to me taste better and run cooler. Some atties you have to get creative to lock them leads down because the capture screws and wire hole size don't play well with them and will either not lock the leads or will cut them.

@dplongo.....Do you know if the SXK Nebula Wine is available in black?? I didn't see it.
Thanks

Both of the Kayfuns you mention are good, and I also like this one, which is MY easiest to build on. I haven't found any that NEVER leak, or at least "weep", but all three of these are decently dry.

SXK Nebula Wine
$12.87 SXK Nebula Wine Tank RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - authentic / 5ml / stainless steel + glass / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

These are MY favorite premade coils:
$7.55 Authentic UD Kanthal A1 Pre-Coiled Resistance Wire for Rebuildable Atomizers (50-Pack) - 28 AWG / 0.3mm dia. / 1.3ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I am the furthest thing on the planet from an expert in these areas, but all this works well for my purposes. :)

Come on down, Willy! In most states, you don't even need to flash an ID!!!

Vote early and vote often.

Years ago Sydney and I went to vote. There were these two women in front of us who were not registered, had no I.D. but claimed they lived in the precinct. They were allowed to vote. It turned out we were in the wrong precinct. After we voted in the correct precinct, we noticed they were arguing the same story. And once again they were allowed to vote. We reported them and were told that saying you lived in X location was good enough to vote. We always wondered how many times they voted that day.

Elections in Texas have always been rigged. When I was a kid it was illegal to have hold a republican primary in a public building, so for at least one primary our house was the polling place.

Try getting away with that in, say, Germany (for example).

Are you familiar with, "The TD Scratch"? It's not a dance, but instead a nice little method of slicing the base (with a triangular file) to help wires trap. It works like a charm!

Learned and passed down by the one & only Troll Dragon. I'd tag him but he'd wonder WHY I was calling him into this thread.

I'm familiar with that, the ones I'm referring to are the posts where you insert the wire through a hole and a screw from up top is supposed to capture the wire in the post, sometimes those will just deform the wire and not exert enough force to maintain a stable connection, it will bend the wire into a U shape down into the post and even deform the coil. I usually can get by with wrapping the lead under the head of the screw at the top of the post, like how the IGO-L is built.

Understood. The IGO-L's someone so kindly got for me have never been removed from their boxes.

I hear they're good though.

Someone gave me a link to Annealed Nickel wire at Temco. I can't find it now. I have searched and searched my computer.

When I search the Temco site, I can never find annealed nickel. That link was the only way I've ever been able to find it.

I'm thinking this is the thread where I got it. I can't remember for sure.

Anyone have the link for annealed nickel wire at Temco? It's the wire needed for the NR legs of NR-R-NR coil builds.
Temco only shows Kanthal & Nichrome 60 & 80. All of them are annealed.

Duane- DIY question. Since my nic is already 12mg 100%VG is it still necessary to break it down into smaller bottles?
If they are in plastic I'd think about transferring to glass if your storing it for a long time. I didn't go crazy with my nic and small bottles, I've got some in 250 ml and 500 ml bottles, the thing is the amount of air, you only want a little bit of air in the bottle, I like to have about 1/4 inch. ( that's not much oxygen considering the atmosphere has only 21% oxygen.)

When I go to use my bigger bottles, I will have kept the smaller sizes and will divide them up at some point into smaller bottles. Warming the nic, and transferring it, then re-chilling it should have no real impact on it, freezing it is like hitting the pause button, kind of, but really it's like hitting a super duper slo mo button. At room temp nic is good for 6-12 months or maybe even longer at 100 mg/ml strength, at 12 mg/ml, it should be good for 1-2 years or more is kept cool and out of light. In the freezer, no one knows how long it will keep, I've read many posts claiming 5-6 year old nic is just fine.
