I do alot more reading than post and a lot more comparisons than reading but i ordered the prodigy and as always keeping my fingers crossed shipping starts soon, however i came across the GG and was curious so i read the basic specs and found its very similar to the prodigy and its cheaper
first things first im not knocking the prodigy due to the fact that steve s very transparent and open to his customers but i was curious as to whats the difference

also to note ive only been e smoking for a short time and im stuck w/ an SE product thats not all that great and my gf let me order the prodigy and said thats it if it doesent work cause of financial reasons were very young and living on our own plus i still havent made the complete switch from analogues but i can tell with a more reliable device it would be an easy task.

2 Video reviews of the GG (Ikenmoke's being the best) and thats my experience with it. There is one big difference between the Prodigy and the GG(Both i have never seen!) If the GG breaks...YOUR SHIPPING IT TO GREECE:shock:, if the Prodigy breaks you get to phone flirt with Casey and ship it to Tennessee. So since I have USED neither, i thought i would point out the obvious:lol:

from a GG owner and user --

if you want the best device,
hand crafted excellence,
simplicity of design and
excellence of manufacture,
no solder, no breakable parts,
will last a lifetime,
choice of size models,
superb vapour production on all models,
choice of different battery sizes and strengths,
choice of different adapters for different attys,
looks sleek and sensuous,
great throat hit,
terrific flava enhancement of juice,
total satisfaction of your non-smoking experience.

as I said, ....
when only the best is good enough,
go with the GG,

because you deserve it ...............

I've been looking into both the GG and Puresmoker forums and reading about the GG and the Prodigy as my next upgrade.

I visited both the GG web site and the Prodigy web site. I came back to the forums to read again. I've never ordered anything from the GG web site or the Prodigy web site so I've had to rely on everything I've learned about these two models from reading the info at the web sites and the info provide in these forums.

They both look like very good models, durable, and will provide the mega power to fit my needs. They are both similar in price. I viewed the videos on the GG web site and read what they said about the GG. I then viewed the Prodigy web site and read the details and the warranty. Back and forth and back and forth.

What won me over to making the Prodigy my next e-cig was simply a secure comfort I felt when PM'ing with Steve about the Prodigy. He was upfront with me and answered my questions honestly.

This was in the middle of the night a couple of nights ago. In the middle of the night he was still running his company and putting potential customers first. With all the things he had on his plate he took time to answer my concerns. Since I'm self-employed and sometimes burn the candle at both ends to get things done that told me right there who Steve is and what his company is about.

And he like kitties! (just joking... not)

Now whether the Prodigy will be my next Commander in Chief and the Screwdriver denotes to Five Star General remains to be seen.

As a side note:
I'm not surprised that some of Imeo's "ladies" would come over to the Puresmoker forum to hype the GG after what I've been reading goes on in that forum. Each to his own I guess. But it is SO not cool to hype a supplier's model in another supplier's forum.

QUOTED FROM -- Post by - mamu

END QUOTED --

The only reason that I came in here was because the question was asked by a member on here, which was the best --
Prodigy or GG

and he asked for our evaluations.......

the only answer I saw here for that member was by a member who admitted he had neither of them, so he was of no use to any one needing info.

As a GG owner,
and yes, proud to be one of - Imeo's "ladies" as you put it.....
and I would ask you to watch your tone there please........

I wanted to give the member who was enquiring,
an honest review in my opinion of my thoughts
and feelings and findings with the GG.

I could not give both sides of the story,
I do not have a Prodigy,
but I tried to help the member with an honest evaluation according to this member /Owner of GG.
what I wrote is what I have experienced with my GG,
and I stand by what I said.

If and when the prodigy becomes widely available,
I am sure members will give equally glowing reviews on it as well.

I am looking forward to the purchase of Steves USB, when it is available, so I have nothing to gain by running my mouth off against his products, which I did not do.........

So accept this for what it was,
an answer to a members enquiry.

and just for the record -------

I did not even realise this was in the puresmoker forum,
till I read your post, and looked up the top.

To Steve, and only Steve,
I appologuise if I was out of line with my post,
altho I do not see how,
as I said, I blundered in here to answer a members question,
not realizing it was in your forum.

Lets retract the claws for a second. Yo bunny, i answered his question...BY GIVING HIM A REVIEW TO RESEARCH8-o and i had nothing to offer him:confused: I also pointed out that no matter which is better, THE GG IS IN GREECE , while the Prodigy is in the USA:D. If you really READ his post and CARED, you would notice he said he had financial issues too. That means that paying $30.00 dollars more and shipping to Greece is probably not in his best interest. Seriously some of the GG's biggest supporters, had anxiety over sending them away for the recent updates. I read the "GG" forums too, and think Imeothanasis is "funny and a quality person". Until the Prodigy is released, every product could say it was "Better" than it. That's why while i recommend Puresmoker and mention the "Prodigy" and its features, I usually recommend other's till i "USE" it.

We should square off a few things first ...

Apples to Apples ...

The Prodigy is $94.95
The GG is $155.36 (as of 6/10/09 @ 5:50pm Central Standard Time)

Comparing WITH Accessories:
The Prodigy (4 batts, charger, atomizer) = $139.95
The GG (4 batts, charger, atomizer) = $179.89 (as of 6/10/09 @ 5:51pm Central Standard Time)

The Prodigy is roughly $60/cheaper than the GG.

As far as comparing the two ... That up to you guys, not me :) Just thought I would square some information first :)
