I absolutely love my Buzz Pro II ECF (SN 016), but I must chain-vape because I stopped taking it with me to work due to the short battery life (and no true on/off switch) and only used it at home, and even then a set of batteries would die on me at some point during the evening. This caused me to recently purchase a Pearl PT from Vaprlife, and while it's decent and solves my battery problem, I already miss using the Buzz Pro II. :(

So my question is - Have you guys ever thought about making a pass-through accessory (not a new model) for the Buzz Pro II? It would be great to have one at home and one at work, and for work just unscrew it and pop the batteries back in and screw the end cap back on when I had to leave my desk.

Second semi off topic question - I'm also considering selling my BPII (since it's in mint condition with never leaving the house) and getting a VVPV since it has a true on/off switch and can be used as a pass-through, and while I see that it uses larger batteries, how is the battery life compared to the BPII, and would I have any leaking issue keeping it mostly upright in a suit jacket pocket?

Thanks! :)

I don't think we'll be coming out with anything that will make the BP usable as a passthru. I'm very curious about your battery life tho. Most of us get anywhere from 10 to 16 hours or more on a charge.

What resistance carto or atty are you using, and at what voltage? What batteries are you using?

As for the VVPV, it's a very good unit, there are some who have had leaking a little inside the bottle compartment. This is mostly due to getting the feed tube pinched when it comes out of the compartment. It can usually be fixed by positioning the tube part towards one of the inside corners to give it a little extra room.

Just build one. It's easy. I built this one that's variable with volt amp display.

Hmmm, that's strange then? I only use Boge SR (3.0 ohm) cartos either raw or in a tank, vape right around the yellow setting on the thumb-wheel, and use the Trustfire batteries that I purchased with the BPII. I also use a "shorty" 510 sealed extension sometimes to protect the device in case of leakage, but I don't believe those add very much resistance.

With the older powerizer batteries I would get 6.5ml worth of vaping, consistently, at around 8w. 3 ohms at 4.5v more or less is around 7w. I believe the trustfires test a bit lower capacity than powerizers, but not massively.

Are you going through anywhere near 6 ml between battery changes?

Yeah, right around 7 to 7.2 watts is my "sweet spot" depending on the juice. I really only vary between right under the yellow line to right past the yellow line, but mostly right past it which I figured to be 7.0 or 7.1 watts with the 3.0 ohm carto.

Not even close to 6ml. I typically keep my all-day vape in my Vmod XL with a LR carto, a couple of juices I really like are in tanks with LR cartos on my Mantis and my Silver Bullet, so with the BPII I'm usually just screwing on various cartos with a drip tip and just vaping random juices I'm in the mood for (in separate cartos of course!).

I'm wondering then if I have a bad battery? Every other mod I use takes 18650's, and since the batteries in the BPII didn't last very long I didn't want to carry spare batteries in my pocket so never bothered buying another set...

Porsche, how much vape time are you getting on your batts? Do you have a volt meter to test your batts and Buzz with? With your set up you are only pulling about 1.5amps/7ish watts. You should be getting at least 10 hours or so from a charge.

I get home from work around 6:30pm and go to bed around 12:30am, so in under 6 hours of just vaping random juices in cartos, but still vaping my main juices via other devices during that time, my batteries will run out on the BPII. And yes they are fully charged when I put them in BTW, and I also keep track of switching their top/bottom positions in the device each day. One thing I could think of that I could be doing wrong is I leave the BPII on the entire 6 hours even if I don't use it for an hour since there's no true on/off switch, but I wouldn't think that would kill it so fast?

I do have an old voltmeter somewhere, would just have to figure out which box in the garage that it's in.

OK, my GF might literally kill me if I buy something else (although selling my BPII in exchange for buying the VVPV might soften the blow!), but I still have to ask: I know there's a coupon code right now, but I also read about some other discount due to buying a PV from you guys previously. Is that correct?

You should be getting way better battery life that that! You very well could have a bad battery. The LED draws so little current that it should take a month or so for it alone to run your batts down. Find your meter and test those batts LOL! Only time I turn mine off is if I stuff it in my purse or pocket.

Yup, repeat customers get an automatic discount as long as you made an account on the Notcigs sales site...someone remind me how much it it! 5%? And at check out, enter "ECF Buzzkill" (without the quotation marks) for 7.5% discount. You can also put someone's name in as having referred you and they will get a credit applied to their account as long as they are a Notcigs customer, I don't remember if it was $5 or $10. You can use their forum name or real name, or both is you know them.

We'll get you figured out Porsche, I'm betting on a bad battery :)

OK Bovina, you twisted my arm - I just placed my order for a black/black/chrome/chrome 510 VVPV plus extras!!! I was on the fence but I figured that it's far more exciting to order a VVPV as opposed to ordering a couple of boring replacement batteries! ;)

One question about my order though - It looks like everything I ordered is in stock and I paid for the priority shipping, so is there a good chance that I'll have it before next weekend? I only ask because my BPII took almost 3 weeks? Thanks again!

EDIT: Definitely willing to wait if you guys are thinking of adding that notch inside for the feed tube!

I'm pretty sure they are all notched in that top corner. Mine came (about three weeks ago) already notched.

I can't promise anything Porsche, I don't work in the shop since it's in Ca and I'm in CT lol! They are getting caught up on the back log some tho. Your VVPV will still have to be built, but most orders are going out in 1 to 2 weeks now.

Some folks don't know that our sweetheart Lorrie not only builds our PVs, but also builds the far more complicated fiber optics polishers for Mike's main business, Nanometer Tech.

I hope I didn't hurt your arm by twisting it ;)

Oh OK, no problem, I didn't realize that! I assumed that since the website listed the quantity available per body color that they were ready to go or maybe close to it. Haha, in that case forget the rush order and tell them to take their time and do a good job! ;)

And no worries on twisting my arm so hard Bovinia, the doctor said I only need the cast for a couple of weeks! ;)
