Due to advice from our supplier, it is with regret that we have to do a recall on the EVOD batteries in 650mAh and 1000mAh sizes.
We have been advised to inform customers to stop using these batteries.

We do not require the batteries to be returned to us.

The 900mAh EVOD batteries are unaffected.
No other parts of the EVOD range are affected (chargers, clearomisers, coils).

From KangerTech:
KangerTech is voluntarily recalling some EVOD batteries, that were supplied between the end of March and beginning of April. While only a few batteries may be affected, we are recalling an entire batch of 6000 EVOD batteries.
We were recently made aware of an issue with an EVOD battery sold through an official KangerTech distributor. After extensive research, we found a potential issue with the internal cell used in the manufacturing of the EVOD, which could fail during the charging of the battery.
KangerTech takes its customers safety very seriously, and is working to recall and replace all of the EVOD batteries that may have this issue. While we recognize the inconvenience recalls cause our customers, we are taking these actions on their behalf to help ensure their safety.

This batch applies to EVOD 650mAh (up to 1st July) and 1000mAh (to date) batteries distributed by iVapour;
the 650mAh were in kits, and the 1000mAh were sold separately.

Owing to factory's limited production ability, there might be delay in replacing with new batteries.
We will try our best to ship out replacement asap.

All customers with a battery or kit from the batch in question have been sent an email about this today.

Please feel free to email with any enquiries.

Our apologies for the inconvenience.
