Can I suggest someone build a multi port charger for ego Batts?
I know they exsist for 510 batts, but how about one that handles 400 mah up to 1300mah eGo style batts.

Maybe 5,6 or even 10 ports? with overcharge protection, status indicator lights, the whole shabang?

Build it....I'll buy it ;)

actually, that would be pretty sweet!!!

Thanx kwcharlie.
I've got soldering stuff, but I lack the know how to regulate the voltage to each "port", so each batt has its own independant circut if you will.

I do have a couple of USB ego chargers of course, and a few 5 port USB hubs, but was wanting to eliminate all that mess, with one streemline charging station. Something like this:

I am really surprised no one has made one yet. At least I have not seen any. Kinda odd because I know they make them for regular 510 bats. I could go for one with about 5 ports in it.

edit: Actually the 510 ones probably would work. May need an extension adapter. They would probably just take longer to charge since the current is about 1/2 of a normal ego charger.

I was looking at mine, and it would be relatively easy to do this just by gluing the existing chargers to the top of a small project box. If you cut the USB connectors off, there are only two wires, a red (+) and a black (-). Then all you'd need was a 5 volt wall wart rated for .5 amp per port. You can either buy a jack that matches the wall wart and install it in the project box, then wire the cut ego chargers to it, or just cut off the plug and run the wire inside the project box.

I made a 4 port USB charger for my cell phones, etc. like that.
