Productivity......

not a good word for Saturday

I did get my fingernails filed down this morning so I guess that was productive and beneficial to my occupation. Hard to type with long fingernails.

I've now moved into unproductive mode, for as much of the weekend as i can get away with....books, DVDs and naps are on my agenda

I am doing pretty good......groceries bought, clothes in the washer, bathroom clean, floors swept, just a few things left for tomorrow.

Ok, not to spoil the party but - I cleaned a bunch of windows, inside and out. It's been so nice out and not windy! Fortunately I've got the easy kind that slide up/down and tip inward. I hate to admit it but I really kind of had fun doing it. I can actually see out of them now!

I also went shopping. I really needed a new black purse (no, I mean it; the old favorite could not be revived) so I went to Macy's clearance sale. I got a great purse, a badly needed robe for about $11-$12 (was $65), and some socks. I cleaned up there too!

I wasn't a TOTAL lazy, I got the litter box changed and 3 loads of clothes washed and fixed b ig brunch for my daughter and me yesterday. After that, I settled in with a book (yes CES, it was Digital Fortress). I finished it up this morning and I have given myself a stupid headache!! lol. It was very good....couldn't put it down!

Back to doing laundry now. yuck

My fiancee and I often look at each other on Sunday evening and say, "I had a significantly better weekend than the one we had planned!"

This weekend, we stayed in bed until 3:30 PM on Saturday ( alotta intimacy ), then I took her shoe shopping. She took me out for beer afterward. Followed by more intimacy.

This morning (Oh? It's quarter-past 2 in the afternoon, you say?) We're still layin on our PJs.

This is significantly better than the weekend we had planned!
