i've always had issues with genni's when wicking with cotton. The standard way is to build a vertical coil directly over the wick holes on the tank, and pull wicking material down through the hole and into the tank. well, cotton swells up and it dry hits, no matter how thin i would make it where it goes through the hole.
then there's the whole, needing a syringe to fill it B.S.

Heres how i fixed these issues. If you look at it, it's just a dripper with a tank below it, right? (a dripper with holes in the floor of it, Hmmmm)
so I built it accordingly, Dual horizontal coils next to the holes.(six wraps 28 gage each ending up at .61 ohms)
Then wick with cotton, making sure the cotton cloud covers the holes. then tip to prime.(soggy bottom drippers?)lol
To Fill, Simply move cotton away from the "wick hole" and fill with standard needle tip bottle.

Been hitting on this for two weeks now, never a dry hit or burnt cotton.
this works so well, I did the same to my Kraken genni.
